Author's note: Thank you so much for 700+ reads. It's taken me longer than expected to update because I just came back from holiday and then my grandad died, so things have been really hectic. On a brighter note, I hope you enjoy this chapter! :)

Rae's POV
Four days had passed and I hadn't seen Justin. He hadn't been glued to Lily's side at dinner making unnecessarily rude comments, he hadn't been in class smirking like the world's biggest jerk and he hadn't shown up at the library so I could help him with his Biology homework. So, I was left to wonder what exactly he meant by his peculiar reason as to why he didn't like me.
"You're everything she's not!"
Immediately after he said it, he casually walked out without saying another word. I found the whole situation quite odd. Then again, Justin got a kick out of annoying me. He could've thrown in a major curve ball that he knew would hit me right in the head. Not literally, of course. I was glad that I was nothing like Lily. Why on earth would I want to be anything along the lines of a materialistic wannabe snob?
Yawning, I forced myself to sit up straight. It really was a chore staying awake in third period Economics. I was forced to listen to Mr. Miah go on and on and on about market equilibrium. I needed to find motivation for this class because there was no way in hell that I was going to get help from Justin again.
Forcing myself to concentrate on the graphs that were drawn on the board, I began scribbling them down. The classroom door opened and Mr. Miah's pen stopped squeaking on the board.
The class fell silent.
The tall guy, dressed in all black from head to toe with a red hoodie on, closed the door behind him. He turned around, pulling his hood off his head and walked towards his seat.
"What time do you call this, Justin?" Mr. Miah asked, annoyed that the class had been interrupted.
Justin stopped and looked down at the silver watch draped around his wrist, a smirk playing on his lips. "11:45am, to be precise. Would you like the seconds with that, sir?"
Mr. Miah took a deep breath and exhaled. "There's only one reason that I'm not kicking you out of this class right now and that's because you're brilliant at Economics. However, there's no reason for you to be working at a C grade. A's Carter, I want A's from you!"
Justin's smirk was immediately replaced with a scowl. He placed his hands in his pocket as he clenched his jaw, letting his head fall back slightly.
"Next time you're late; it's a straight two hour detention on a Saturday. I wouldn't call my bluff if I were you. Go and take a seat," Mr. Miah snapped.
He shrugged his shoulders and muttered a string of curse words under his breath as he made his way down the aisle. I stifled my laughter and continued drawing the graphs. I didn't understand why he wasn't achieving his full potential when he was clearly capable of doing so. He was smart and I knew that ever since he helped me out on Monday, so what was the problem?
RING!!!
The end of class bell rang, interrupting me in my thoughts. I took longer than usual to leave the classroom so I could avoid the traffic jam in the hallway. Throwing my last book in my bag, I made my way to my locker. The hallway was pretty empty except for the couple sucking each other's faces off a few lockers down from mine.
Get a room.
I grabbed my packed lunch from my locker and headed to the library. You weren't allowed to eat in there but evidently, I didn't care. If it was up to me, I wouldn't eat with snobby and her crew again.
