Rae's POVGetting a cold wasn't an item on my Christmas List, but there I was cooped up in my room under a fort of blankets, with a hot water bottle, vapour rub and a box of tissues, watching a movie on Christmas Eve. The only upside was that I got to miss Uncle Rob's Christmas Lunch with his friends and their families. I had no idea how I'd survive listening to Lily ramble on about superficial things or her new fake relationship with Kyle.
As harsh as it may have sounded, I knew that she was doing it out of spite. If I didn't know my cousin by now, I'd never know her. And this was just another one of her twisted ploys to get Justin back for ending their relationship.
God knows that if all of Uncle Rob's friends' daughters were like her, I wouldn't even last five minutes in that room.

If it means I get to cuddle with you for the whole night, then it's worth the risk.A smile involuntarily spread across my face.

Only for you ;)I placed my laptop on the side table and pulled the covers right up under my chin. I knew that there was no point in turning off the lights as Justin would do that when he got here.
My body was tingling with excitement at the thought of spending the night with him. We hadn't slept in the same room in quite a while and to be honest, I missed being wrapped up in his buff arms, snuggled up against the warmth of his bare chest. Listening to the rhythmic sound of his breathing as I drifted to sleep.
"You're thinking about me that much that you didn't even realise I've been standing here for a minute watching you?" Justin smirked at me.
My cheeks flushed violently and I turned away from him.
"Don't go all shy on me now," he said.
I could hear him shuffling around and I was pretty sure he was taking off his shirt as he always did. A little breeze flew up my tank top as he peeled back the covers and got in bed next to me.
"Hey," he whispered against my ear and I immediately felt my whole body heating up.
Wrapping his arms around my waist, he pulled me into him.
"So, you're giving me the silent treatment now?" He placed a kiss on the back of my neck and pulled away.
I turned around to face him, a smile etched across my face. "Hi."
"Hello." He smirked.
"How was dinner?" I asked, throwing my arm over his chest and looking up at his long lashes.
Justin placed his arm around me, keeping his other arm behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling. "Shit."
I couldn't help but laugh at his blunt response. "Really? It was that bad?"
"I mean, they don't like me, they're only tolerating me. The food was bland and I hated the dry steak if I'm being honest."
"Not long left to go until college." I sighed.
Justin sighed after me but didn't say anything.
"What's up?" I asked, propping myself up so I was leaning on his chest, my face inches away from his chin.
