off limits {steve}

being tony's daughter, i am off limits

he's always over protective of me, especially since i'm his only family that he has left and vice versa

we're really close and never fight, but this was anexception

i'm walking back to my room when i hear yelling in my dad's lab

i peek my head in and see him yelling at steve, the man i love

we've gone out a few times, secretly of course 

we just fell in love with each other

it just happened

"don't think i don't know about you liking my daughter. you can't like her and you can't be with her, she is off limits" tony practically screams, his face red

i walk in causing him to stop, mid sentence

he looks at me sweetly "hi y/n"

i roll my eyes and stand beside steve "don't act all innocent dad, i heard you yelling at steve"

"i know, but i had to. you're off limits"

"everyone knows that, but dad, why can't i date?"

"it puts you in danger" he replies like it's the simplest answer in the world

i laugh "i've been in danger every second that i've been in your life. so don't start by giving that excuse"

he shakes his head and stays quiet

i put my hand in steve's hand, sending him a smile

he returns it, nervously

my dad watches us, closely

"dad" i say catching his attention "i love him"

his eyes widen, face turning red again "how can you possibly love him? you barely know him"

"you're wrong. since i'm off limits, i have to date secretly. i always have, but steve is different than all the other guys"

he laughs "yeah because he's a superhero. of course he's going to not be normal"

i roll my eyes "in case you haven't noticed, my entire life isn't normal. my dad is a superhero. everyone i know is a superhero. so what difference does it make if i'm in love with one?"

he sighs "you're right. i just-" he looks at me "i just don't want you to get hurt. that's my biggest fear and i don't want your heart broken"

i smile "neither will happen, but if they do, there's nothing you can do to stop it"

he nods, slowly

"tony, i am in love with your daughter and would give my life for hers. i would never put her in any danger and i agree with keeping her safe at all times. i would never want anything to happen to her" steve says, softly

i smile up at him as he smiles down at me

i look back at my dad and see an unreadable expression on his face

"fine, you two can date because we all know i can't stop you. just know if you break her heart, i won't even hesitate to beat your ass, got it?" 

steve nods, gulping

i smile and run over to my dad, giving him a big hug

"thank you" i say

he laughs "your welcome"

i run over to steve and jump in his arms as he twirls me around, excitedly

i wave to my dad as steve carries me out of the lab and to his room

as soon as he closes the door behind him, he lays me on the bed and hovers over me, smiling his breath taking smile

"you're finally all mine" he whispers

i smile as he leans down and places a soft, passionate kiss on my lips
