Maddie's P.O.V
The whole car ride to Jen's parents house we sat there in silence. Well, accept for when Karen would try to bring up a conversation, but it quickly died.
"Are you excited to be staying with us? We have some things planned." she smiles.
"Yeah." I say flatly. I love Karen and all, but I really don't want to go.
She turned on the radio but didn't sing along like Jen would do.
After a few minutes of silence, Karen pulled into the driveway.
"We're here!" she announced.
I grab my suitcase from the trunk and slowly walked inside the house.
"Are Ben and Blaine here?"
"Well they don't live here, but they visit often. I'll give them a call."
"You can sleep in the guest room if you want. Down the hall, to the right." she adds.
I walk down the hall, trudging my suitcase along, sick of all the silence. It's just Karen and I. Gary's at work and the boys are who knows where.
There's a poster on the wall, just one. He has blonde, curly hair.
"Who's Justin Timberlake?" I say to myself. His name is written on the poster. It looked a little old and worn out.
"That's Jen's old poster. She leaves it here when she visits. It makes her feel at home. She used to love that thing."
She startled me. She was standing at the doorway and then sat next to me on the bed.
While we were on the subject, I asked, "What was Jen like when she was younger?"
Karen laughed a bit. "She's a lot like she is now. She was into sports and used to help around in our camp. Camp Hi-Ho. She loved to go horseback riding, too."
"Camp Hi-Ho?"
"We own a camp, as a family."
"Oh, okay."
"You know, she was really hyper as well. Her nickname was Nitro."
"Nitro?" I couldn't help but laugh.
"Haha, yeah. But overall, she's a really sweet, down-to-earth person that won't let fame change who she is."
"I'm just glad that you're apart of our family now. If you want, I can show you pictures of them when they were babies. They're really funny. Especially Jen's funny faces. She gets embarrassed every time she sees them."
"Sure."
I'm glad me and Karen started off on good terms.

Jen's P.O.V
Ever since Maddie left, the whole house has been lonely and depressing. Why did I have to be so stupid and get drunk?
There's really nothing I can do now. It's done and over with.
I decide to call Josh, since we're filming next week and we'll need to be speaking to each other. Also, because I'll have to talk to him sometime.
"Hey." he says.
"Hey."
"Are you mad at me?"
