The voices are nagging you again and you can't do anything to stop them, you can't stop listening to what's inside your own head. Nothing would ever be able to stop your thoughts, you would never be able to stop thinking.

Every few seconds it was nothing or sadness, you didn't know what to feel anymore. There was no light inside the darkness, the darkness had consumed the light long ago and had refused to return to you.

You couldn't find where you other light was, it had disappeared and it hadn't came back yet. You were scared that the darkness had taken him, you hoped not. If he was gone, then you wouldn't be able to continue.

You felt yourself sinking further and further into the night each time your mood slowly went into a descent of madness and despair. You wouldn't be able to pull yourself from this conundrum if you even slipped up one more time.

Dark arms of fear begin to wrap their arms around you and you close your eyes, preparing for the worst when you suddenly feel your light return. One arm snakes around your waist and the other crosses over your chest, pulling you against a warm body.

"(Y/N)..." The voice speaks out above all the others and you smile softly, humming in response to him, "....Are you okay?"

You shake your head and sob, causing him to gently press his face into your neck and leave butterfly kisses across it, "...I... I don't feel safe on my own anymore..." You mumble and you hear Ren sigh.

"I won't leave you then." He said, kissing the shell of your ear, "I won't leave you on your own unless you ask me to, okay?" He suggests.

You turn around and rest your head against his chest and he keeps his arms wrapped around you, gently rubbing your back and humming into your ear, pressing his face into your hair, "...Thank you.."

"Are the voices gone?" He asks softly and you nod.

"All but yours.."
