Intro: You know I'm scouring for ships when I go to the Dragon Ball franchise. Those who have been keeping up with this book know that every time a Dragon Ball ship appears, it's an obscure one. While I'm not too sure about this one, it certainly seems to fit the status quo for what I've written.

Plus, since we're halfway through the Tournament of Power, why not make this to commemorate it?

Proof: Cabba is basically Universe 6's version of Vegeta, only much younger, and much more tame. He's pretty much the leader of his people, if not just a major player in Universe 6's Galactic Peace Organization. His first appearance came in the Universe 6 Tournament Arc, where he fought the aforementioned Saiyan Prince and lost pretty badly, despite learning how to transform into a Super Saiyan.

Caulifla is basically what you'd expect of a Saiyan woman: strong, stubborn, confident, and terrifying. She also holds the official title of "First Female Super Saiyan". She's the daughter of Cabba's old, crippled master and she seems to be a crime boss, but that's about all we know about her background.

Just after the beginning of the Universe Survival Arc of Super, Cabba was assigned by Champa to find some Saiyan candidates for the Tournament of Power. Cabba went to his old master, but due to him being a cripple, the master couldn't join. So, the master pointed Cabba in the direction of his daughter. And that's how they met.

Shortly afterward, Cabba convinced Caulifla to join on two conditions: One, to include her surrogate little sister, Kale (Female Broly), in the tournament as well, and two, to teach them how to become Super Saiyans. Cabba agreed to these terms, kinda reluctantly since Caulifla scared the crap out of him. Turns out, Caulifla was a natural, able to tap into Super Saiyan Two in no time at all! You know, the transformation that took Gohan more than a year to achieve?

After that, Kale transformed in the LSSJ form, due to Cabba getting more attention from Caulifla (don't read into that more than needed), indicating that Cabba and Caulifla were creating some kind of close bond.

And after that, there's the regular banter, and not really much to know, other than they look good on screen together.

What I think: What really sells it to me was the concept that was established early on in Super: Saiyan males are naturally attracted to strong, confident females (hence, Vegeta & Bulma, and Goku & Chi Chi), and Caulifla certainly qualifies for that. Though I'm not sure if that concept applies to Universe 6 Saiyans, but then again, Cabba didn't even know what Super Saiyan was until he saw Goku, and Cabba was still able to achieve it, so Saiyans can't be that different across universes.

Too bad they might get erased from existence.
