So my roomie Tara's friends with her gay best friend Billy and Dillon. They always go to the beach and shit, and tonight was one of those nights.
She comes back with Billy to change, and she's a LITTLE DRUNK BUT IT'S ALL GOOD. I helped her wipe off her smeared mascara and touch up.
Billy's at our dorm door saying that Dillon's stopping by so they could leave together.
My reaction in my head: OH. MY. GOD. YES.
Billy and I are talking at the door, and I fucking can't. Oh my god, he's gorgeous.
Like wow.
Dillon shows up and it's just that certain interested eye contact before I walk back to my side of the room, and it's funny bc he followed me in 😂
He starts talking to me and holy fuck his Australian accent is beautiful. Wow. Marry me already.
The way he greets me is HE HELD OUT HIS HAND TO SHAKE MINE. What a fucking gentleman I swear.
First thing he says: "Hi Chloe, it's nice to meet you, I'm Dillon."
Me: "Oh, nice to meet you too, I didn't know you knew my name! I think you play basketball, right?"
And we make some normal conversation without any awkwardness about seeing each other in our practices and such.
You guys I'm improving so much already.
After Tara's done in the bathroom, he said the sweetest thing before they left 😭
He was like "It was very nice to meet you Chloe," he takes a pause and I hear him say "..finally!" At the end. Not in that annoyed way, but that relaxed moment of finally doing something you've been waiting for.
This literally happened. Now I can't sleep. I have practice in 12 hours.
I was just chillin' in my dorm having a Taylor Swift marathon with my TS t-shirt on and Jesus gave me a blessed opportunity.
