So talkthepoc sort of inspired this book. Like there are so many books that are "based" off of legends and myths, but I put based in quotation marks because let's be honest, there are times where I don't even think these writers do their research. And the fact that they continue to basically butcher a culture, most likely unintentionally, it's a little.. upsetting.
I love learning about new cultures. I have to thank my 9th grade literature teacher for that.
So if you want to see a specific story or person comment or PM them.Now when I say legends, I mean stuff like Beowulf. Not the whole "Bloody Mary" stuff. I focus on stuff of mythology and cultural importance. If you are looking for a scary campfire story, you're in the wrong book.
