Sorry for taking sooo longgg.

Sorryy im switching things up! Quiz is next chapter 😝

First off, never assume that Korean is English. Because it isn't.
Why I say this, is becuse i get several requests on asking what things are. For example, what is 수? Well.. I can't answer that because 수 is a syllable.

REMEMBER. Korean is a writting of syllables. One 'box' is a syllable.

에 and 로

First offf '에' 복습.
In Unit 1.2, 에 is explained to be a particle.
로 on the other hand is located in chapter 'Taxi'

The particle ~에 in Korean is used to indicate the place and/or time of something in a sentence. Therefore, ~에 is often used in sentences with 있다 to indicate the location of somebody/something.

로 is addressing a place
*If there is no 받침 you use 로. If there IS a 받침 you add a word.. 으 and make it 으로

So.. what's the difference??
This is a common question that learners ask. People get it confused because of these situations:

나는 학교에 갔다. (O)
나는 학교로 갔다. (O)

They are both correct.

BUT '에'is indicating the place and '로'is indicating the direction

So the difference can be shown here:

나는 학교에 도착했다. (O)
나는 학교로 도착했다. (X)
> You arrived AT school

나는 학교에 출발했다. (X)
나는 학교로 출발했다. (O)
> You go TO school

a, the, my, like, that.

I want to point out that korean isnt english again. That means that korean doesnt have a distinctive word for a, the and like... but also my.

There is no word for my. As i said in previous chapters, the 's words are all used with 의.
Mine. My > 나의
Bob's > Bob의

'That' is explained in Unit 1.1 - Basic Korean (2).

That ~ 그
That (when something is far away) ~ 저

We use 그 when we are talking about something from a previous sentence or from previous context, regardless of if you could see it or not.
For example:
That man yesterday (어제 그 사람)

We use 저 when we are talking about something that we can see, but cannot touch because it is too far away.

Thxx for the request and sorry for taking soooo long 😢
