To your friends

안녕 ~ also Bye

To older people
안녕하세요 ~ Hello
안녕히 가세요 (hee-ga-se-yo) ~ bye. If the person is leaving.
안녕히 계세요 (ge-se-yo) ~ bye. If the person is staying and YOU are leaving.
A good way to remember.
가 means go. 계세요 means stay.

Some other 인사

To an adult
안녕하세요? / 안녕하셨어요? (shut-seo-yo)/ 안녕하십니까? (shib-nii-gga) ~ how are you. 안녕하십니까 is also hello.

안녕히 주무세요 (joo-moo-se-yo) ~ good night. 주무세요 means sleep. So it means sleep well.

안녕히 주무셨어요? ~ good morning. 주무셨어요 means did you sleep. So kind of like did you sleep well?

To peers
잘 지냈어? (jaal-jii-net-seo) 어떻게 지내 (eo-ddeo-ke-jii-ne) ~ how are you. But you only say this like after you haven't seen each other for so long. Its more translated to 'how were you doing'

잘 자 (jaal-ja) ~ good night 잘 : good 자 : sleep. It means sleep well

잘 잤어? (jaal-jaat-seo) ~ good morning. Did you sleep well?

Its a good morning ~ 좋은 아침! (jo-eun-a-chim) / 좋은 아침이에요! (jo-eun-a-chim-ee-eh-yo)

좋은: good

아침: morning
저녁: night (jeo-nyeok)

*remember. You always have to have an ender for adults when talking with an adult. For example : 요, 입니다, 습니다, 입니까, 습니까.. etc.

When someone wakes you up
Wake Up!!!
일어나!!! (il-eo-na)
