11. Naruto ~ Hidden Flower (19. Secret Admirer)

Yet again the OTP for this fic is not my OTP, but if a writer is able to draw you into their story despite that, then you know you've got a good story.

This particular one is quite cute really, and I like how the writer choose to go about the secret admirer theme. I think what I liked the most was that for this particular pairing, the one who you would think would be the secret admirer is flipped, and while I'm not sure Naruto would come up with the "plot", I kind of had to let it slide. My suspense of disbelief was more then willing, and it was so adorable.

Another thing I like about this one, is it's a high school AU. I was so impressed, I have to say I think it would have been in the running for the High School/Colle AU contest this last year. Characterization was practically there, and the writer used enough characters to make it feel like it was still the fandom, but avoided putting in to many as well.

I'm also reminded of a really old story I read on the other site I post to, written in either Spanish or Portuguese. That, along with this are two High School AUs I'm not going to easily forget. The two works happen to also focus around Hinata as well, but most of all I find myself reminded of why I like Hinata as a character so much.
