One year and the Galra Empire still stands, but barely control a third of the universe now thanks to Voltron. When things start to look up for Voltron, disaster strikes. *Slight AU, Matt and Katie (Pidge) are twins and at the age of seventeen. When the War ended and the Lions left that night. Everyone assumed that it would be hundreds, maybe even thousands of years before there were signs of a return. But The Lions had other ideas. Dreams lead the team on a journey through out the universe collecting the lions and reigniting their bond as paladins. They must relearn what it means to be a Paladin of Voltron and work together as a team. All the while no one knows quite what they are preparing for; What danger could be awaiting around the corner?

Recovery isn't easy, not when someone knows their love is struggling to wake in the next room. But when Lance and the others find out the devastating truth that Keith hasn't waken up yet, it sends them all into a frenzy. Though with the right recovery, Keith might just wake up after all. Everyone knows "Lover-Boy Lance", but he has a secret, and a big one too. He keeps this secret well enough that the other paladins never suspected he had a secret, but it's revealed as soon as Lotor and Haggar finally successful capture them all. "Haggar... Please... If anything, Honerva, don't tell my team about me..." Lance begged the witch in a cell away from his teammates. "Oh, I wouldn't dream of it. After all, what are friends for... Blaytz... what a wonderful druid you'll become." Haggar smiles devilishly. '... May the gods help me... I'll come home, Mama... Just... Give me some time, I promise.'

He nearly cried out at the impact. The Black Paladin dug his hands into the fabric of his shirt, pushing him harshly against the wall, "Where is Lance?!" Keith snarled. It really was remarkable how his eyes changed to resemble those of pure Galra. It would have scared him if his introduction to the guy hadn't been a gushing retelling of a 'bonding moment' between him and his brother. Alec merely rolled his eyes. "Haven't you been listening. I. Don't. Know. And to think Lance said you were smart." Keith was pratically growling as he pulled his arms off of his shirt. "I'll say this once. You will either help me find my brother and fix the mess you made or you will let me leave with that ship and stay the fuck away from him." In which Lance goes off on a solo mission without the others knowing only to be left behind when the team disappears and having to deal with the aftermath. (They do get reunited. In fact most of the time lance spends a part from them in shown in Lance's flashbacks leading up to their reuinion.)
