Veronica's Pov:
"We need to do something more" I said too Betty as she sat infront of me in her bed.

"Like what? Wasn't the slap good?" Betty asked and sighed.

"No, we need to hurt her even more" I said.

"Fine, how?" Betty asked again.

"In the same way she did too us,  we need to hurt what she loves the most, or more like, who she loves the most"

El's Pov:
The silence from Sweet Pea made me worried and uncomfortable. I mean, I had just told him something very personal all I wanted was hearing him say something. Anything.

"Babe? You ok?" I asked after a minute of him just staring at his hands.

"What?" He replied and looked up at me.

I now realized why he hadn't looked at me at all during the time I had  told him everything. It was because he was ashamed of the fact that he was crying.

"Hey Sweets? No need to cry" I said as I sat up in the bed and climbed over into his lap. I cupped his face in my palms and said.

"Why are you crying my dear?"

"Because I love you so much and the thought of you....dying..I...I just can't handle it" he replied as his voice broke and tears were streaming down his red cheeks.

"But I'm not dead, ok?" I slowly said as I kissed his trembling lips.

"Thank god for that" He said and chuckled before pulling me into a hug, he burried his face into my chest as I was pushed into his arms.

After a while I slowly fell down into the bed and we both drifted away into sleep.

The next day, May 15th, Monday.

I slept at Sweet Pea's house for a while but since school was the next day I went back home at about 8 pm when he was still sleeping. I didn't want to wake him, he was such a little angel.

When I woke up Monday morning I was in a mood. I didn't really know why but I knew I wanted to, well, I guess talk to Veronica. We had a lot to discuss after what happened after the funeral.

When I walked out to the kitchen I was met by my dad and Jug sitting by the table drinking coffee.

"Morning people" I said as I yawned.

"Morning honey" my dad replied.

"Sleep well?" He added.

"I guess, but I'm really tired" I said as I poured myself a cup of coffee.

"Oh before I forget, I need to meet you guys right after school, we have some things to discuss" My dad said and folded the paper he had been reading.

"Ok where?" Jug asked.

"Pops?" I said before my dad could.

"Perfect, meet me there after school"

"Ok dad" Both me and Jug said as I sat down by the table.

As I parked my bike at the school parking lot I saw how Christian, Jack and Ethan stepped out of Christian's white Mustang. I managed to get eye contact with Ethan who smiled and waved. I pretended not to see him and quickly turned my head. When I came into the Hall I was met by the looks of everyone. They were staring intensely as I walked towards my locker were I saw Toni and Cheryl were already waiting.

"El!" They screamed as I stopped infront of them.

"Hi what's going on?" I asked confused.

"Is he ok??" They asked.

"Is who ok?" I asked now even more confused. I had no idea who they were talking about.

"Sweet Pea of course!?" Cheryl asked.

I was scared now, what did they mean with "is he ok?" What had happened?

"Wait? What happened with Sweet Pea??!" I asked in fright.

"He was rammed of the road on his way to school Kevin came rushing in screaming that it happened and that his dad told him" Toni said.

"Where is he now??" I asked.

"Hospital I think" Cheryl replied.

"El, I think he's really hurt" Toni said grabbing my arm.

I ran out the same doors almost crashing into Ethan, I didn't care I had to get to Sweet Pea before it was too late.
