El's Pov:
A small smile spread across my lips as his fingers traced the curve of my waist. He was laying closly behind me in the bed which was way to small for two people but we didn't care, we didn't mind sleeping close to eachother.
"El? before we fall alseep tonight I need you to tell me something" Sweet Pea said, breaking the silence.
I opend my eyes and stared into his black looking eyes.
"What would you like to know babe?" I said slowly as I moved some of his hair that had fallen down into his face away.
"I need to know the full story regarding you and Chrstian, what really happened last December" He said as he tried to sound as calm as possible but I knew he was dying to know what had happened.
I wasn't ready but I knew I was never gonna be fully comfortable talking about this so I decided to just get it over with.
"On December 20th 2017 I tried to kill myself, and here's why"
Decmeber 15th 2017.
El's Pov:
"Hey dad? I'm meeting up with Veronica at Pop's we're gonna talk about the winter formal"
"Ok be home soon though!" I heard my dad reply as I closed the door of our trailer behind me.
I drove to Pop's and smiled as I saw Veronica sitting by our usual table.
"Hi babes!" Veronica exclaimed as I sat down infront of her.
"Hi! So let's cut straight to the chase, who are you taking to the winter formal?" I asked nervously hoping it wouldn't be Archie. I'd had a crush on him for a long time and now when it was basically over with me and Chris I was gonna try to focus on getting Archie to like me.
"I'm going alone" Veronica replied proudly as she laid back in her seat.
"Alone?" I said confused, why was she going alone?
"Here's the deal, I'm tired of stupid boys ok! I want to go with you and Betty!" She said as she grabbed my hand which was resting on the table.
"But, but" I slowly said as I heard a familliar voice behind me and I saw how Veronica's face changed from excited to annoyed.
"And here comes the disaster" She said as she rolled her eyes.
"Ellie? Can I talk to you?" I heard a voice behind me, I tunred around just to meet Christian's kind face.
I didn't reply I just stood up and nodded before walking over to him. He grabed my hand and led me outside.
"What do you want?" I asked trying to sound as confident as possible.
"To take you to the winter formal" He replied.
"Why? I thought we were over?" I said as I let my arms go from my sides up to crossed infront of my chest.
"I know, I was an asshole"
"You were? You mean you are?"
"I am an asshole but, I miss you, so god damn much"
I couldn't believe what he was telling me, did he really miss me?
"I think about you all the time and about what we had together and I've come to the conclusion that.... That I need you" He said as he looked at the ground looking a bit ashamed for pouring his feelings out infront of me.
"Fine, you can take me, BUT! We are not a couple, not yet" I replied and sighed.
He smiled and thanked me before kissing my hand and leaving me in the parking lot.
As I returned to Veronica she had finished her milkshake and was looking extremely frustrated, I couldn't balme her.
"And?!" She said as I sat down infront of her again.
"It looks like I just landed myself a date to the winter formal" I replied as I bit my lower lip trying to not smile.
December 20th The night of the winter formal.
Christian was picking me up at my trailer by 7, the clock was now 6: 55 and I was so nervous.
I couldn't believe that I had let myself say yes to this.
"And if that boy hurts you again I will send some of the serpents to his house to "Talk" with him about his behaviour" My dad said as he came up behind me, I met his eyes in the reflection of the mirror and smiled.
"Of course daddy" I replied and turned around to hug him.
"I love you Elise" He said as he stroked my forhead.
"Love you too dad" I replied as I heard the familliar sound of Christian's car honking outside our trailer.
One more chapter only one day after the other omg what is going on?! haha anyways next chapter will have a suicide attempt in it so be warned.
