"Wait!" I yelled as I messed up on the steps again. The director, Mark Gerard cut the camera and I sighed in frustration.
We were on the set of my music video are you that somebody and I couldn't be more excited. I was so thirsty to shoot this video because I got to get together with a couple of old friends from high school. The choreography was sick since my girl Fatima came back around at the right time.
"You need a minute to go over it again?" The director asked and I nodded while rubbing the back of my neck.
I saw Fatima come over to me "How many times I have to tell you girl? It's back back and then step out" She chuckled.
"I'm sorry! I forgot what part we were shooting, my apologies" I gave a sarcastic smile.
"Yeah lady she doing the best she can" I heard Devante deep voice come from behind me. She waved him off and I snickered.
He pulled me into a hug and gave me a kiss on the forehead "I'm glad you made it" I said as he still held me. Fatima walked off with a goofy look on her face.
"You know I show up whenever you ask me" He said and before I could open my mouth to correct him he said "Well I will from now on" He said and we both laughed.
For the pass month me and devante have been talking on the low for a while. I'm not saying we've been flirting with each other or anything, we just check in with each other. I try not to tell Elgin whenever I speak to D because I don't want him to trip out on me.
That's why I only invited devante on set today because I knew there wouldn't be a problem if the other person wasn't anywhere in sight.
I don't even think D cares about me and ginuwine's relationship anymore. From what I heard, him and that Demetria girl are getting closer and closer. I don't know if their actually dating yet but if they were I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be here right now.
Who knows though, he's been starting to always make the time for me.
We finally let go of each other "How you been?" I asked him.
He smacked his lips "You asking as if you didn't just talk to me a few days ago"
"Shut up!" I chuckled "That's what it seems like! I mean look at you, done got your curls did over" I said combing my fingers through his hair.
He swatted my hand away "Yeah I know so don't be fucking it up" He laughed "So your man ain't around here today?" He asked.
