August 1st, 1997 Irvine, California
Well the biggest messed up thing that happened these past months was that my hot like fire video never got released. The management team and editor got things screwed up so now I have to release it next month. The SAME day as my the one I gave my heart to single. I apologized to the fans in advanced though.
Today I was performing at the Hot 97 summer jam "Your love is one in a million, it goes on and on and on" I held the mic out towards the audience "You give me a really good feeling, all day long!" They sung along.
I started to do the routine with my back up dancers "Love it babe, love it babe" the music continued to play.
"Thank yawl! See yawl next year!" I yelled to the the crowd and stuck up a peace sign. I exited the stage with my dancers in front. The first person I see is kidada running up to hug me.
"Good job girl! I'm so proud of you" She squeezed me then let go. I laughed "Thank you, and is that for me?" I asked pointing at the water bottle she had in her hand.
She nodded and handed it to me "So what are you planning on doing now?"
I shrugged "Honestly I was just gonna go to my hotel and rest, I'm tired" I said then gulped the water down.
"Yeah you need it with this overloaded ass schedule" she chuckled. Bianca and Nicole came over and joined the conversation.
"So what's next on the to do list?" Nicole asked with a grin.
I raised an eyebrow "Um sleep.." Bianca stepped back "Sleep? Girl it's not even 4 o'clock yet" I smacked my lips "Your telling that to the person who just got off the stage" I rolled my eyes and drunk some more water.
She didn't say anything but just mushed my head "I think she right, she's busy and deserves a nap or two" Nicole then said "The three of us can just do something"
"What els you got to do?" Bianca asked
"Well tomorrow I have rehearsals for my next show in a few days, then a photo shoot, then a studio session and more" I sighed.
"Okay well you can rest for today" She pointed at me "But tomorrow your doing at least one or two things with us after ya lil rehearsal"
"Ok for one, I told yawl I was going to California for business! Not to party" I looked at all three of them "I'm not saying I'll be busy everyday but certain days it's just not gonna work" They all got silent "Hey yawl were the ones to jump on the flight" I shrugged my shoulders.
