Before Fame:
Briar had no intention on becoming famous, she actually wanted to be an Astrologist. One day she auditioned with a friend just for support and she was picked. She then left SM for BigHit because she didn't want to be in such a repetitive girly group that they tried to stick her in. Then she heard her mother was pregnant with her younger brother and wanted to quit the road to fame before she started it. Her father insisted that she did what she wanted and followed her dreams, and although her mother wasn't as supportive as her father was, her mother understood. Later on in 2013, she debuted with BTS and thus started her journey.
