You were on the streets and scared. The city had been going through tremors all night. Nothing huge, but it still scared you. You walked along down an alley. Suddenly, the Earth trembled beneath you. This one was bigger and violent. You shrieked and you toppled over. Suddenly the Earth cracked underneath you. You screamed as you fell into the sewers with piles of rubble following you. You felt pain all over your body, so much that you couldn't tell if your bones were broken or just bruised. You couldn't even tell if you were bleeding or not. You landed and you were covered in heavy rubble from the waist down. You tried to pull yourself free, but one more piece hit you on the head and you were out like a light.

Leo's POV

*2 hours later*

We'd stopped those huge worm things, but parts of the city were in ruins. We could do nothing about that though. We headed home, but one of the railway tunnels had caved in.

"Great! We have to take the long way around!" Raph yelled, annoyed. I sighed.

"Nothing we can do. Come on." I said. We began to head out, but I heard something. It sounded like a groan. I looked over. I scanned the rubble. I saw a hand sticking out from behind some of it. I gasped. "Guys! There's a person in there!" I said.

"What!?" Donnie exclaimed.

"Come on!" I called and we all hurried over. When we got closer I saw that a girl was trapped, half buried under the rocks and debris. "We've gotta pull her out." I said.

"Wait! If we pull we risk hurting her more! We've gotta lift everything off her." Donnie said.

"We can't lift something like that!" Raph said, pointing to one huge piece that had her trapped.

"We've gotta try." I said. We all started with the smaller amounts that were there. Then we all gathered around the last huge piece. "Ready? Lift!" I ordered. We all pulled up with all our might. We couldn't lift it.

"It pointless!" Raph said.

"Try again!" I said. We all tried again. I felt determined to free her. I summoned every ounce of strength in my body and we were able to lift it off of her.

"Go! Grab her!" Donnie growled as the three of them kept it up. I quickly pulled her out and they dropped it. Her forehead was bleeding along with a cut on her arm and leg.

"Come on. Let's get her home. Who knows how long she's been here." I said. We all hurried home and I gave her to Donnie so he could patch her up. I hope she'll be alright. I thought. I went to the dojo to meditate. I was able to do it for a little while, but then my mind kept circling back to the girl. I groaned in frustration and gave up. I stood up and went to my room. I wanted to be alone for some reason. I didn't really know why, I just did.

I closed the door behind me and I took my mask off. It had been a long day. I took my gear off and put it all in it's proper places. I laid down and I instantly felt relief when my head hit the pillow. I sighed with a soft smile and looked up at my ceiling. That's better at least. I yawned and I covered up. I turned over on my side and nuzzled my face into the pillow slightly. I was in a kind of cuddle mood. It wasn't exactly cuddle, but I did feel the need to be bundled up. I yawned again and soon I was fast asleep.

I woke up to a scream. It sounded terrified and grief stricken. I looked around.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I called.

"HELP!" I ran toward the noise. I got there and I saw a little girl with a tear stained face shaking a woman's arm, begging her to wake up. She had (e/c) eyes and (h/l) (h/c) hair. I was shocked. She's...she's the girl we rescued, but....she's so young.
