(Narrator's pov)
Everything seemed to return to normal when the numeron code restored everyone, everything except Shark or should we say Nash. Shark was a Barian Emperor something that (y/n) hated. (Y/n) was his girlfriend long before he found out he was a Barian but than Vector had to go and ruin (y/n)'s life! Vector caused (y/n) to lose everything and then she was eaten by Don Thousand, it was hell and even though everything was back to normal Shark just couldn't bring himself to tell her.
"Awwww is someone still thinking about his shitty relationship with his girlfriend?~ You know you've ignored her alot I'm sure she thinks you're both broken up heeheehee~", Vector cheered as he snickered at an angry Shark.
Shark's deep blue eyes glared daggers at Vector as Rio appeared and slapped Vector in the back making him shut up. Shark watched as other students in his class returned from lunch and a blush spread over his face when he noticed a certain smiling (h/c) haired girl enter the room. Vector rolled his eyes in disgust as he watched you smile and growled at the sickening thing he called love.
"Nash you have a terrible choice in wom-uuugh!", Vector fell to the ground after being punched in the gut by the purple haired teen.
As Shark stared at his suffering friend his eyes caught sight of hers but it wasn't for long. (Y/n) shyly waved at him with a small smile before sitting down at her seat. Shark felt terrible letting his new identity slowly strip him of his love but if he admitted he was a Barian he was afraid of losing you.
"Ray, go back to class!", the teacher screamed triggering Vector as he pulled a sweet smile and ran off to ditch class.
Shark was unfocused the whole day as he continued to stare at you, he was madly in love with you but you hated barians and he was practically the leader of the barians. He decided he would confess to you today after school. Rio kept you busy after class as everyone else slowly left to go home, Rio came out of class and looked over at her brother before smiling and walking off.
"The rest is up to you Reginald.", She chimed as she walked away.
(Shark's pov)
I could hear (y/n) humming as she walked towards the door, I waited patiently next to the door way for her but I was still nervous and unsure about telling her. As she walked out of the door I grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards my chest, she looked about ready to slap me until she realized who I was. I smiled warmly at her as pressed a kiss to my cheek.
"It's been a while.", she sighed.
"Yeah it sure has been, I've missed you.", I admitted hugging her tightly.
"You wouldn't have to if you'd stop ignoring me. I'm your girlfriend so you can't just block me out like that.", she puffed as she stared up at me with a pout on her cute face.
I smiled and pressed a kiss on her forehead and then on her lips, she melted into the kiss quickly and I never wanted to let go. My hands traveled down her curves until they rested at her hips as hers wrapped around my neck deepening the kiss. We both could here people coming so we pulled away smiling as several students passed by us. I take her hand in mine and smile as I start pulling her to the entrace of the school. I hop onto my motorcycle and motion for her to join me, her small arms wrap around my waist as I start to drive off through the city streets. (Y/n) said nothing as we zoomed through the city streets, she just held onto me. Soon enough we arrived at the same place I confessed to her a year ago, a small hill where the sun would set and shimmer over the ocean.
As you stared at the view in awe my smile faded away as my heart started to race, I was scared and it was pretty obvious.
"It's beautiful isn't Shark?", she smiled as she turned to look at me.
"You sure are.", I smiled pressing another kiss to her lips.
I was a little surprised when she hugged me but I gladly hugged back. It was now or never.
"(Y/n)...w-what if I was a Barian?", I asked.
I could feel her tense in my arms and suddenly her look of happiness turned into a look of worry. I let go of her and stepped back, a look of worry was still etched on her face.
"(Y/n), close your eyes. When I say open them do it, and if you hate what you see say goodbye and walk away. Do you understand?", I asked sternly as I stared at her.
She closed her eyes and I transformed into my Barian form, I kept my eyes closed as I told her to open her eyes. I could hear her gasp in surprise but I kept my eyes shut. I waited for her to say goodbye but she didn't say anything, it felt like I waited for eternity but she still said nothing. Suddenly I felt her arms wrap around me in a hug, I opened my eyes and they met hers. She didn't run away, she stayed by my side, she's right here.
"B-but I thought you hated Barians?", I stuttered.
"I don't hate them....well I hate Vector but besides that I'm okay with the Barians. Besides, I love you. You could be a freakin elf or something and I still wouldn't care. You're still you, if you're a Barian I'll accept that because I love you.", she looked up at me with a blushed face and a smile.
My eyes widened in surprise but then became soft as I accepted her response, I turned back into a human and smiled at her as I started peppering her face with kisses. I loved her, she was my angel and I could never stop loving her.
"I love you (y/n) so much.", I smiled as I kissed her lips.
"I love you too Shark.", she cheered as we shared another kiss as the sunset over Heartland.
Even if I was a Barian it didn't matter because I knew I'd always have you by my side. I was still me and you still loved me, that's all I needed. You are all I needed.
