Sorry for the inactiveness (as usual). While I've been away, I've played three new games. Thought I might post my thoughts on them on here because why not.

Oh, and they're all Sonic games. Because I want to play all the main series Sonic games and haven't yet.

Sonic and the Secret Rings:

I really enjoyed this game, motion controls are fine (almost identical to Mario Kart Wii actually, only difference is that you're moving faster and can jump higher), great music (I love "Seven Rings in Hand"), great story (I really like Shahra). The level designs are also really creative and work very well imo, like Dino Jungle and Levitated Ruin. Only complaints is that the bosses and the pirate level are horrible.

Sonic Unleashed:

I HATE THIS GAME. SO MUCH.
Chip is very annoying, the story sucks AND you can't skip cutscenes, werehog is boring, stupid and his levels go on FOREVER. Sonic's levels are fun to look at. But Sonic is very uncontrollable and all you do is watch him run down linear corridors. And the game STOPS YOU MID GAMEPLAY TO GIVE YOU TUTORIALS. The humans in the game are also really creepy. Not keen on the music, doesn't fit Sonic at all and is kind of forgettable with the exception of one or two songs.

Sorry for all the caps. But this is honestly one of the worst games I've ever played.

Shadow the Hedgehog:

I actually really liked this game, it's one of my favorite Sonic games now. The music is AMAZING. Imo the best Sonic soundtrack and one of the best videogame soundtracks of all time (some great songs include "Digital Circuit", "Waking Up" and "Lost Impact"). The gameplay is really fun with a lot of variety, and Shadow controls surprisingly well. The story is so bad it's good, and I spent ages laughing at the cutscenes. The graphics are a bit meh, some levels look amazing (like Cosmic Fall) and some look horrible (like Westopolis). Great replay value due to the alternate path mechanic, which I really like. The mission based gameplay also works well imo.
The game also has one of my all time favorite Sonic level, Lost Impact (currently tied with Sky Rail from SA2).

Well there you go. These are summaries of my opinions on the three games. I didn't go into much detail on any of them though, if you want me to, then just ask in the comments.

Also, please share your opinions of how you found these games, I'm interested to hear other peoples' opinions on these games.
