Tyler and you never really celebrated Valentine's Day. Partly because he was always away on the day and because you two just didn't see the point of it. Tyler always treated you well, showed you how much he cared and loved you. He would randomly surprise you which you thought was way more romantic than having him do it just because the day told him so.
But today he was home and it would be your first Valentine's Day together after being together for three years. He was in the downstairs bathroom, showering as you had the upstairs on occupied. You stood at the top of the stairs, looking down at him as he walked out the bathroom. Steam filling the room and his chest still wet.

He comes out, and looks at you his eyebrows furrowing at what you're holding. He stops in his tracks, his eyes widening as he takes in the present in your hands.
You walked down the stairs, wrapping your arms around his neck when you reached him.
"Happy Valentine's Day baby", you whispered against his lips before kissing him. He moaned into your mouth, as his hands went just above your ass.
"I got you something", you tell him and he frowns.
"We never get each other anything", he says but you just shake your head.
"I just wanted to surprise you", you say and lead him to the couch. He sighs before holding your hand.
"Thank you babe", he says and kisses your lips.
"You haven't seen what it is yet", you smirk as you pull away.
"I don't care what's in there. Just the fact that you got me something..", he says but you shush him.
"Open", you say and place the bag on his lap. There's two small presents in there. He opens the first and sees his favorite book and DVD. He smiles and thanks you as he opens the next one. In it as a pair of lacy pink lingerie for you.
"You want me to wear this?", he smirks as you roll your eyes.
"Whenever you want me to wear it.. I'll gladly do so", you tell him and he grins wider before kissing your lips.
"I love this, thank you", he tells you.
"Days not over yet. I planned for us to go out to the movies and then out for lunch and then come back here where I'll make you your favorite supper and then watch movies on the couch", you tell him and he shakes his head, smiling at you.
"I love you so much", he says and you smile.
"I love you too. And I just wanted us to go all out for our first Valentine's together.. I know we don't normally celebrate it but we don't often have dates so I thought today would be a good time", you explain as he plays with your fingers.
"Well I love the plan.. except I want to add something to it", he says and you wait for what else he wants to do.
"You have to wear this tonight", he says, holding the lingerie, "and then we'll have some fun after dinner", he says kissing your neck causing you to giggle.
"Fine by me", you say and you feel him smiling against your neck.

"Can you please pass me the pepper?", you ask Tyler who is standing with you in the kitchen.
He gives it to you, wrapping his arms around your waist as you stir the pot. He loves your stew that you make, and since it's raining you thought it would be the perfect meal.
"How did I get so lucky?", he asks.
"I ask myself that everyday", you reply.
"I'm serious.. you do so much for me and I feel bad for not getting you anything or planning anything...", he starts saying but you cut him off.
"You spoil me whenever you come back from filming. You always surprise me at work with flowers. You leave cute notes for me in my books.. you treat me so well and make me so happy", you say and reach up to cup his cheeks.
"And having you here is my gift", you tell him, causing his cheeks to turn red.
"Love you", he says.
"Love you", you tell him and he kisses your lips before you carry on with dinner.
And you two spend the rest of the night in bed, having a good time.
It's call V-Day for a reason ;)
The next day you wake up and Tyler isn't next to you. You walk downstairs and find him in the kitchen by the stove.
Walking up to him, you wrap your arms around his waist. He places his hands over yours.
"Morning gorgeous", his morning voice calls and you smile as to how sexy that was.
"Morning baby", you say, placing a kiss on his back.
"What are you making?", you ask.
"French toast", he says and smiles down at you, knowing it's your favorite. You see he has strawberries and syrup next to him.
"Looks great. Would you like some coffee?", you ask.
"Yes please", he says as you put the kettle on.
"Babe?", he says and you look up at him.
"I need to talk to you", he says and your heart drops. He looks so serious.
"What's wrong?", you ask and he walks up to you, grabbing your hands and leading you to the lounge. There's red roses everywhere and you gasp when you see this.
"Nothings wrong.. I just.. I've been wanting to ask you this for a while but didn't want to ask you yesterday because it would have been a bit too cheesy for us", he says and your breath hitches.
"Y/N.. I love you. Every day you show me how much you care about me and you make me feel so special and safe. And happy. And I never want to lose that feeling. I want to make you feel loved every day and want you to feel like a princess. I want to spoil you and I want to be with you forever.. will you marry me?", he asks as he goes down on one knee.
You're nodding so much as the words can't escape your mouth.
"Yes!", you whisper yell and he smiles, placing the ring on your finger before cupping your cheeks and kissing you passionately.
"I love you", you say as he pulls away.
"I love you", he tells you.
Happy Valentine's Day. I don't like this day but anyway. Hope you have a great day with friend and family and/or your special someone.
