(Heelloooooo my LOVELY LITTLE BOOK WORMS! This is a requested imagine by the wonderful @luli_wtflol. ENJOY!)
"(Y/N)! This is the third time you have fallen asleep in my class!"
"Tell me something I don't know." You said sleepily, rolling your eyes. The class chuckled quietly at your remark, watching the teacher get angrier and angrier. You loved messing with the teachers, it was the only enjoyment you could get out going to school. Your teacher huffed and pushed her glasses back up her nose, glaring at you.
She tapped her foot, waiting for you to start paying attention. You sighed loudly, making sure she saw your eyes rolling again, before slumping lower in your seat.
"Are we going to have a problem Ms. (L/N)?" The teacher sneered, staring at you behind her wide glasses. You suppressed a smile, resting your hands behind your head and planting your feet on the chair in front of you.
"I don't know, you tell me." The challenge in your voice made her face turn red from anger as she pointed to the door. You gladly got up, slung your bag over your shoulder, and headed straight out the door. You laughed as you heard your aggravated teacher's grumbling behind you. You shut the door, strolling down the hallway with a smile on your face.
You were known as the bad kid around school. Always causing trouble, always getting into fights, and always doing what everyone told you NOT to do. Your eyes were always steely and cold, your lips set in a firm sneer, your personality was complete crap. You didn't mind though, you liked having everyone afraid of you.
You passed by a few people, both of them looking the other way and avoiding your stare. You smirked, shifting the bag to your other shoulder as you turned the corner. Just as you were about to sneak out of the school, your principle came walking. You froze, cursing under your breath as he spotted you. He gave you a disapproving look, one he has given you many times, before holding his hand up. You sighed, stopping in your tracks and looking up at him.
"Hello, Ms. (L/N). What are you doing walking around during class time?" You huffed, shooting him a forced smile and shrugging at him.
"I was just going to the bathroom."
"Come on, you can lie better than that. Why do you have your backpack with you? Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't the bathroom the other way?" He asked, pointing behind you to the bathrooms. You chuckled, knowing he wouldn't believe your crappy lie. You opened your mouth to speak when he beat you to it.
"You weren't thinking of skipping school, were you? You've already been in detention two times, I will suspend you the next."
"I wasn't going to skip! I was just...um...you see I was j-"
"She was j-just going to show me where the library was. I have no idea where I'm going and I asked her." A quiet voice cut you off, both you and the principle turning to see. It was a young man with bright red hair and soft brown eyes. He was gripping the ends of his jacket tightly, skinny jeans and converse was his outfit. You remember seeing him a few times, he was the new student. He's only been here a few weeks at the most.
A few kids walked by, accidentally looking at you. You clenched your fists, sneering at them harshly. They jumped a little, rushing to get around the corner and away from your viscous staring.
"Hmm...Mark..is that really what she's doing out here?" The principle asked, staring hard at the guy. You looked at him in confusion, seeing his eyes flicker to you quickly. You've only talked to him a few times, helping him to some classes he needed to go to. You didn't know why the hell he was helping your sorry ass out. The principle rubbed his chin, looking between the two of you before nodding slightly.
"Alright..if you say so. Ms. (L/N), have a good day. I better not see you roaming the halls again without a reason." You nodded, watching him turn around and walk away. You turned back to Mark, seeing his face flush with embarrassment. He shifted in his spot, shooting out his hand.
"H-Hi...my name's Mark..M-Mark Fishbach." You couldn't seem to find the smart ass remark to say like you usually did. His eyes were pretty to look at it. You shook his hand gently, rolling your eyes and heading down the hallway. He followed you, pushing his glasses back up the ridge of his nose.
"Um...thanks for helping me out back there." You muttered, awkwardly smiling at him before walking faster. He nodded, smiling a little to himself as he followed. You cleared your throat, throwing glares at the people who stared after you and Mark. He tried making conversation as you led him to the library, but realized how much you didn't like talking.
"Why does everyone seem afraid of you?" He suddenly asked, standing in front of the library door. You smirked, looking over at him.
"Because I'm someone you should fear." He gulped, pursing his lips as he looked closely at you. You felt your bad ass edge waver, your lips melting into a firm grimace. He smiled, making your lips twitch at the corners.
"You don't seem like a bad person."
"Well, then you don't know me that well."
"C-Can I?" The question threw you off guard, your expression dropping. His red hair fell in his tanned face, his fascinating chocolate orbs locking with yours. You cleared your throat, taking a step away from him. What the hell?
"I gotta go." He seemed disappointed as you turned around to leave. You shook your head, glaring had at the ground.
"Will I see you around?" His voice was so quiet and pleading it almost made you stop walking. You chewed on your bottom lip, rolling your eyes and sighing loudly. You looked over your shoulder, seeing him standing at the doorway.
"Maybe..."(Part 2 coming up soon!)
