I brush my finger through my hair as I looked over my outfit. Hmm not bad girl. Today I was getting ready to go over Kaleb's house.
Is it sad to say that I'm nervous as hell. It's been awhile since I been on a date ya know. Oh lawd, I'm gon mess up.
I rubbed my hands over my face and walked to my vanity set to put on some lip gloss.
"Evonne?!" I yelled.
"Yes?!"
"Did you put on the clothes I had laid out for you?!" I came outta bathroom and put on my beige sandals.
"Yes,mama!"
"Come here!" I heard her lil feet tap against the hardwood floor as she ran into my room,with her curly hair bouncing in her face. Damn I'm surprise she didn't get hurt.

I gasped. "Babydoll,wassup with this hair?" I screeched and grab her face kissing her forehead.
She shrugged her shoulders as she turned the channel to Nickelodeon.
I grabbed a pin off my vanity set and pinned her front part of her hair outta her face.
"There you go." I put the finishing touches on her hair. "All done,Evonne. Now go to the living room with grandma, I'll be there in minuet." She ran outta the room. I looked around to see if I missed anything. Oh keys.
Just when I was finna walk out the phone start ringing. Really?!
"Hello?"
"Aye,Lauren,wassup?" Eazy said in the phone.
"Eric? Wassup? What did you call for?"
"You forgot already," Silence was my only answer. He kissed his teeth. "I told you I was coming by to pick Evonne and Esiah up,so that we can go to Chuck E. Cheese."
I slapped my forehead and sighed. "Damn,Eric I'm sorry but me and E already have plans."
