Making It Right Pt 2

Lauren's P.O.V.

After I answered the phone,it was just awkward silence on between me and Eric.

''Sooo?'' Eric started,trying to ease the awkward tension between us.

''So?'' I said back.

''How you been?''

''I've been good,You?''

''Good,Uh I was wondering if I could come by your house and talk to you?''

I was very hesitant at first because I was kinda not ready to see Eric.

It's been 3 months since we broke up and I'm sure he has probably moved on by now,but really deep inside I haven't.It takes a long time to move on from a person you really love but I can't just forgive him easily.

''Uh,about what?''

''The baby.'' Well if it's only 'bout the future of our babygirl,I guess it won't do no harm.

''Ok.'' I gave him the address of my house and hung up.

A couple of minuets later,I heard loud music bumping outside my house.

I know that only had to be Eazy because he loves to play his so damn loud in his 6-4,that it feels like you at live concert.

I got head start of walking down the hall way cause this lil girl is so heavy that I have to walk slowly all day but Mama loves her so much.

Eazy starts rapidly knocking on the door as I quickly wobbled to the door.

''Coming!'' I yelled.I open the door,revealing Eric Wright.

He look so good,his hair look like it grew a lil bit longer,he's starting to grow a lil beard,and he's even got buffer than ever.

As I was checking him out the wind blew his familiar cologne into my nose.

Damn he still smell so sexy. Isn't already enough that I am pregnant and now my hormones are bouncing around for my cheating ex-boyfriend but I'm not gonna show it.

''Hey.''

''Wassup,Can I come in?'' He ask putting his hands in his pockets.

''Sure.'' I open the wider for him to come in my house. He look around with a smug on his face,nodding his head.

''Hmm,Not bad Lauren,You got tight crib.''

I shut the door and walked in front of him leading him to the living room.

''Thanks,Now,You wanted to talk 'bout the baby,Let's Talk.'' I finally sat down on my couch and rubbed my 8 month belly.

''Um,Yea 'bout that.'' He start to act nervous,scratching his neck.It start to worry me but I stayed calm. ''I actually wanted to speak about...us.''

I was taken back when he said ''us''. I shoulda known damn well that this nigga didn't come to talk 'bout our babygirl.

''Us? What 'bout an us,Eric?'' I said with an attitude,that cause him to give me a look but then he just shook it off.

''Look we need to straighten some shit out before this baby arrives. We can't just go on our whole lives with this awkward tension between us and shit.So,I'm here.'' He comfortably plop down on the couch across from mines.

''Gon head and ask any question you wanna ask me?''

''Oh,So I can ask any question I want?'' I said raising my eyebrow at him. Not that I meant to do it on purpose but I know it usually turns him on.

''Yea,just don't pop off at me,cause Ion want you to go into an early labor.''

I put all joking aside and gave him a serious look. ''Ok,Why you cheat on me?''

''Because,One I was thinking with my dick and not my brain and Two you weren't there with me on the road so I just took that advantage.''

''But that stills doesn't give you the right to cheat so why didn't you just jack off or call me.''

He shrugged his shoulders. ''Ion know Dimp-I mean Lauren,but I'm sorry.Anything else?''

''Do you love any previous women you've got pregnant?''

''Nah,Ion love them,I only have respect for them as the mother of my children.''

''Do you love me?'' I grew nervous and begin to play with my hands. I'm not ready for this answer.

''Lauren,'' He sighed running his hands over his face and looked me dead in my eyes.

''Yea,I love you girl. I know at that time I didn't make you feel loved and sorry for that. Ion know what the fuck was goin' through my head when I cheated on you with all them bitches and not realized I had a good thang at home that I come to that any man dream to have. You've been by my side for three years and I didn't treat like it and I'm sorry,Lauren.I'm sorry. I can also understand if you're not ready or don't ever wanna be with me but all I know is that I'm sorry.''

Goddamn,This man got me here almost in tears and it ain't my hormones. I can tell every word he said was from his heart and it was very sincere. I'm glad that he understands that I'm not ready for him or any man yet. All I want is for him to be a father to our unborn daughter and now for us to be good friends and most of all I'm glad he apologize.

I cleared my throat wiping the corner of my eyes. ''Thanks,Eric.That meant alot but that doesn't mean that I wanna get back with you.''

He nodded his head, ''And I respect that.''

We had a lil moment as we gaze into each other eyes,grinning from ear to ear.

Suddenly I felt a kick.

I gasped which caused E to be alarmed. ''Eric,come here,quickly.'' He rushed over and sat beside me.

I grab his big hand and put it on my large belly. At first he was dumbfound until he felt the baby kick again.This beautiful bright smile of joy appeared on his face.

''Damn.'' He chuckled lightly. ''Wassup,babygirl?'' He whispered to my stomach. ''Dang,she must be ready to come out this prison hold you call a stomach'' He joked.

I hit him on the arm as I giggled at his joked. ''Shut up,E.''

He started to get real comfortable. He took off his jacket and stretched out on the couch and start to rub my stomach,which felt very relaxing.

''Ya know,I'm glad you came over and made things right with me.'' I said truthfully.

His brown eyes met up with mines,made give him a friendly smile.

He smiled back at me.''Yea,'' He nodded his head as he continued to rub my stomach. ''Me,too.''
