The long needle shimmered in the light. Almost long and thin enough to be invisible to the naked eye - but not to you. You held out your arm and watched the needle dissolve into your skin. You wanted to feel a pinch like the blood tests or a sting like the vaccines. You wanted to feel anything...only nothing happened. The pink liquid disappeared into your arm through the sharp needle and you felt nothing. Nothing at all.
