Wait what? (Stan x reader)

     You and your best friend Stan were at Starks pond talking. You had liked him a lot, for a long while. So when he asked you if he could talk to you about a girl he had a crush on, you were so happy. "So, (Y/n).. I need to ask you some advice." "Yes?" "What should I do if I love a girl and want to date her?" You blush. "Tell her immediately!" He blushes and pulls out his phone. You watched him, confused by what he was doing.

"Hey Wendy. Look, I really need to tell you something. It's-it's that, I love you and I want to know if you'll be mine." As soon as Stan had said that, you felt your heart break. "Really? Great! Thanks, love you too Wends, bye!" You force a smile as you see Stan turn around. You swallow the lump in your throat, and turn around. "I'm just gonna go. Bye Stan." He waved you good bye. You began walking towards your house. As soon as you reach your house, you run to your room.

You angrily curse Wendy out in your head. You grabbed a journal, and wrote poems/songs/stories, all involving some girl taking a boy away from another girl. A few hours later, you check the time and notice how late it is. Still unhappy, you decide to go to bed, hoping to feel better in the morning.

~~Time skip to a week later~~

As you were walking to school the next morning, you heard moaning near a bush. Getting curious of what there could be in the bush, you peak into it. You quickly pull away when you realize it's Wendy and Craig. You take a picture, and run to school. After you race to school, you see Stan. Walking towards Stan, you show him the picture. He instantly gets angry. "(Y/n).. Did you take this picture?" You nod.

"WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP CRAIG FROM KISSING WENDY THEN?!" "Stan.. She had her arms around his neck. She obviously enjoyed it-" "BULLSHIT." "What-" "YOU'RE LYING (Y/N)! NO WAY SHE WOULD EVER DO THAT!" You watched as Stan walked away. Sighing you look at the picture, a few tears sliding down your face.

~~A week later~~

Wendy had broken up with Stan yesterday, and went to Craig. As you were walking to school, you saw Craig and Wendy holding hands. Glaring at them, you huff and walk faster to school. As you reach the school, you see a depressed Stan. "Stan?" "You were right (Y/n). She was cheating on me with Craig!" You watched as he broke out into a sob. Wendy and Craig walked up behind you, making both you and Stan turn and see them.

Craig looks away from the sobbing Stan and straight at Wendy. "I'm going in the school, Wendy. I'll be in there waiting." She nods as he walks off. As soon as he disappears into the school, she looks at Stan, who is also looking at her. "Wendy, I-" "Save it Marsh. I don't need you. I don't want you. Stop being so obsessed with me you freak!" You immediately glare at her as Stan cries harder. "Fuck off Wendy." "What wrong (Y/n)? I'm just saying how much of a weirdo he is-"

"SHUT UP DAMMIT! HE IS NOT SOME FREAK! HE IS AN AWESOME LOVABLE GUY, AND YOU LOST HIM. I LOVE HIM FOR HOW HE IS. I BET YOU ONLY LOVED HIM BECAUSE HE WAS ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM!!" You hug Stan, blushing. Wendy smiles, and laughs. Stan quickly joins in with her as well. Confused and finally realizing what you were doing to Stan, you try to pull away. Stan wraps his arms around you. You blush and look up at him.

"You were right Wendy! She does like me! Thanks for playing along. Can you tell Craig I said thanks for him not telling (Y/n)?" Wendy nods. "Sure Stan." You glare. "Wait, so this was all a prank?! You guys just messed with my feelings?! You all are assholes-" "Oh (Y/n). Don't you understand? Theres a reason Stan and I did this. Don't you realize it?" "Huh?" "We did it because I love you (Y/n). But i didn't know if you loved me back. Wendy kept saying you did, but I wanted proof first."

You blushed and looked at the smiling Wendy. "Have fun with Stan, (Y/n). Bye~" You watch as she walks back into the school. Stan grabs your chin and makes you look up at him. "So (Y/n), will you be mine?" "Duh!" You both lean forward, until your lips met each others.
