Bill's POV: Ever since me and Stanley's little talk, I couldn't help but act weird around Dipper. Did he not think I was trying?

I decided to talk to Ford, after much debating with myself.

I input the code on the vending machine (the old man still hadn't changed it...) And slipped silently down the stairs.

Ford obviously sensed me coming though, because as soon as I turned around the corner I had a gun against my forehead.

"What do you want, demon?!" Ford spat.

"Calm down, Fordsy. I'm not here to kill you." I said, pushing the gun away from me.

"Then why are you here?"

"What, can't a guy just have a chat with you?"

"No. Especially not you."

"Ya haven't changed a bit, Ford. Anyways, I just want to talk. No deals, no scams. Just trust me for once."

Ford narrowed his eyes at me. "Give me one reason." He said.

"For Dipper."

"What have you done to him?!?"

"Nothing! Nothing at all! Look, I know me and you have a sketchy past together, but I'd like to make it up to you. I don't want Dipper thinking that me and you are constantly at war with each other." I said. I desperately wanted him to trust me, just this once.

"Bill, my entire family almost died because of you. If you want regain my trust, it's gonna take a lot more than just talking it out." Ford said.

"Come on, Ford! Please! You may not see it, but I love Dipper. I want to get along with his family! I know everyone else has forgiven me, so why can't you?" I pleaded.

"How do you know everyone has forgiven you?"

"Because they've told me! Even Stanley did! Look, I know you won't believe me when I say this, but I deeply regret what I did in the past. Not just to you, but to everyone. I promise you, I'm not the same person I was then, Ford. Please. Just trust me..."

Ford took a moment to think. And just when I thought he was about to forgive me...

"...No." He said.

"What?"

"I said no. You can't just expect people to automatically forgive you. Dipper and Mabel may have, but I haven't
If you want my trust, you have to earn it."

He turned, and walked away, leaving me dumbfounded and heartbroken.

Ford's POV: If Bill expects me to forgive him just like that, he's wrong. I have plans for him, and not even Dipper can stop them coming.

A while ago, I hired a man to keep a lookout for Bill. He would scout the town for any signs of him lurking around, while I stayed back at the shack, keeping an eye on the paranormal activity.

One day, the man came back, and showed me a picture of a man in the woods with Dipper.

But when I saw the man's face, I knew that the man I had hired was the same man in the picture. I also knew that he was Bill Cipher.

So ever since then, I've been working non-stop to try and get rid of him once and for all.

And now, I think I'm finally going to get to.
