"Momma, do Mimi and Papa have a lake like we do?" Gabe asked. As close as Namoi and Sarah were, they did not get out to see Naomi's parents nearly as much as she would have liked to when she was married to Joseph. They would go to California when he needed to be in LA for an extended period of time and would take small short trips to Napa to see her parents. Otherwise they rarely saw them. They would skype on big birthdays and holidays, but again, they did not have the same type of relationship that they did with Sarah and even his father. They were at the funeral and her mother came after her accident, so they had spent a bit more time together, but they still did not know Gabriel and Hannah the way that she would have liked.

"They have some grapes that you can pick...." Naomi said trying to distract her son from the lack of water in the middle of the summer.

"Grapes? Yuck." Hannah said as she popped one in her mouth from a baggie of fruit her mother had packed for their drive to Mike and Norma's house.

"Did you really just do that?" Bruno asked trying not to laugh.

"What?" Hannah asked with the same confused look that Naomi had.

"You ate a grape and said you didn't like them..." he told her.

"No!" she exclaimed upset at what Bruno said.

"I hate grapes!" she said throwing one toward Bruno as her mother drove them to the secluded home set on a small vineyard.

"Oh my god! Do I have three children?" Naomi smacked Bruno's arm as she continued to drive.

"No. Not yet." he said making big eyes and raising his eye brow at her.

"No." she said seriously hitting him again.

"No as in never or no as in stop fu—screwing around he asked.

"No as in that's a real thing that we need to talk about." she said.

"So no babies?" he answered disappointed knowing her so well that she was shutting him down before they even had a conversation.

"Our kids would be so pretty..." he said touching her chin making her laugh a little.

"You don't have to tell me that. I know that. Your girls are gorgeous." she told him.

"Oh quit flattering me." he joked hearing Gabriel whine about Hannah taking something from him.

"Stop it." Naomi said hearing them stop instantly. "We're almost there."

"Fine." Hannah cried. "Fine. But I don't wanna."

About thirty minutes later the four of them made their way to Naomi's parents' house dropping everything on the floor getting lost in all the toys and activities that were out. Within an hour the family was outside on the patio with adults sipping on fresh wine and the kids running around the grassy yard playing volleyball in the sand pit that her parents had put in when Naomi was in middle school and swore she was going to get a volleyball scholarship to Stanford and go to the Olympics and win a gold medal in beach volleyball.

"So, is my sister annoying you to no end?" Paul asked Bruno watching his 9 year old son Wyatt run circles around Hannah and Gabriel.

"She's okay." Bruno smiled.

"I just can't believe that the two of you ended up together again." Paul's wife Gina, interjected.

"Yeah. I guess it is kind of like...I don't know." Naomi answered.

"Maybe fate." Bruno answered.

"Maybe." Naomi responded reaching for his hand under the table that they were sitting at.

"I always thought you two were cute." Norma said. "I just didn't think it was the right time." she told them.

"It might not ave been the right time, mom." Naomi said.

"Yeah. But I think now is the right time." Bruno smiled moving her hand up above the table.

"Oh." Mike finally got in a word within the conversation.

"Oh what?" Normal asked.

"Her finger, Mom!" Paul exclaimed reaching for her hand to see the ring.

"So we're going to get married." Naomi finally got out.

"But it's only been 10 months...." Gina said surprised.

"See. I knew this was going to be the way they reacted. I didn't expect you all to be on board with this. I really didn't. At least there wasn't any yelling." Naomi sighed.

"I don't think that it's not that I'm on board..." Norma started. "I think we're still trying to figure out where you are with Joe not being there with you all and now you have Bruno...who is absolutely amazing....but it's just...."

"Wow. I think is the word you're looking for." Gina said.

"Wow. I think that's the right word." Naomi smiled. "We haven't made any plans or anything." she said seeing her mother crack a smile. "What?"

"Sarah called me after you talked to her about it. We've known as long as you've known." Norma answered.

"God damnit!" Naomi shouted trying to decide if she should laugh or be angry. She looked over at Bruno for an answer. He shrugged his shoulders. "Did you know?"

"No. But it looks like they're okay with it." he laughed seeing her laugh too.

"I didn't know what you all would think." she said retreating a bit emotionally. "I thought you'd say what you did just now."

"We did." Mike said. "But then we talked to Sarah. And she's like you're second mother, Mimi. I know she knows what is right for you and for the babies. If Bruno is right then we'll be happy for you."

"So where are you going to get married? Do we get to go to Hawaii?" Norma asked changing the subject a bit.

"We literally haven't had any time to think about any of it." Naomi told them.

"I don't think either of us want to rush it. We have four kids and four families that are involved." Bruno answered watching Paul count on his fingers confused.

"Sarah and Bedy, Paul." Naomi said answering his question.

"Oh. What does she think?" Norma asked.

"You know she was happy, mom." Naomi said. "She's always rooted for us."

"I think that's still weird." Paul said.

"Yeah. It might be." Naomi shrugged. "But it works. I think everything works and I really can't wait to tell everyone that I will love Bruno till death do us part...."

"And then probably after." he said kissing her cheek.
