Chapter 36

Naomi moved her hand in the middle ofthe night feeling Bruno's body wrapped around her. She stretched evenfurther realizing they were still on the couch. She moved her handcarefully to see what time it was. While reaching for the phone sheturned off the TV feeling Bruno move his arms aware of the change oflight. "Bruno...." she moved his hand from her waist. "Let's goto bed." she said pushing him a little.

"Whattime is it? I have to be at the airport at seven..." he moaned.

"Bruno...it's5::30. You should probably go home to get your stuff." she saidreaching for the light to turn it on. She watched him run his fingersthrough his hair and squint his eyes to see exactly where he was.

"Youlook amazing in the morning, Mimi." he said leaning into her cheekto kiss her.

"Aww,thanks. But my main concern is getting you to the airport on time.I'm surprised Dani hasn't called you yet." she told him pulling outa granola bar.

"Eatthis." she said handing him the granola bar.

"Okay,Mom." he laughed taking it from her. "Thank you, Mims."

"You'rewelcome, Brunz." she smiled still half asleep. "I'm going to goto bed though. Call me when you get there, okay?" she watched himreach his hand for the door.

"Okay,Naomi." he said watching her come toward him. He felt her hands hithis waist and her lips hit his. "Be safe."

"Youtoo, Nay. You're going to blow everyone away at those showcases."he said kissing her. "For good luck and stuff." he said pullingaway.

"Ithink I need more of that...." she smirked pulling him in to kissher again. In the middle of their lip lock she heard his phone ring."Ahh, I knew she'd call you. Get out of here!" she laughedpushing him toward his car.

"Wait...."he said following her to her door grabbing her hand.

"Whatare you doing? You really are going to be late...." she saidshocked.

"Thencome on...I gotta get you to bed. I want to be the last thing you seebefore you go to sleep." he said dragging her into her bed layingher down pulling her blankets on top of her.

"Whatare you doing?" she laughed not feeling tired at all.

"Goodnight, Naomi." he said kissing her forehead standing up to go tothe car.

"Wait...."she whispered to him grabbing his hand.

"I"mgoing to be late...." he smiled at her.

"Ilove you, Bruno." She replied feeling a sense of relief after thewords came out of her mouth.

"Comehere...." he smiled at her pulling her out of the bed hugging hertightly kissing the top of her head then moving his finger tips toher chin looking into her eyes bringing his nose into hers. She felthis breathes against hers. She needed him to say something to her.She needed him to say something to make whatever was going to happenhappen.

"Saysomething...." she pleaded. "Bruno, please...."

"Ilove you too, Naomi." he responded against her lips. "I loveyou." She felt her sigh of relief making everything better.Through their moment his phone rang again.

"Ithink you should go, Bruno." she responded to his phone ringing.

With her still in his arms he reachedfor his phone answering it. "I will be there in 45 minutes. I'm onmy way." he hung up the phone looking into Naomi's eyes. "I loveyou. I will call you when I land, okay?"

"Okay."she smiled reaching for the bed. "I'm going to go to seep now.Because I'm not going to sleep much for the rest of the year..."

"Sweetdreams, Mimi." he said kissing her cheek as she laid down in herbed with her eyes closed and her hands clutching the blankets.
