Pibbles walked over to twilight sparkles castle, when he got there he knocked on the big doors. Twilight sparkle opened it,"Oh, hey, pibbles!" Twilight greeted him,"Hi, twilight." Pibbles smiled,"So, do you need anything?" Twilight asked,"No, I just wanted you to meet somepony." Pibbles answered her,"Oh, okay. Come on in!" Twilight smiled, letting him in the castle,"So, where is the pony you wanted me to meet?" Twilight asked, Pibbles looked down at his shadow that was looming underneath him,"Can you please come out?" Pibbles asked, twilight looked at him in confusion. Suddenly a baby dragon jumped out of his shadow and landed beside him,"Twilight, this is shade." Pibbles introduced her,"Uh, hi, shade." Twilight smiled weakly at her,"Hi, twilight." Shade replied,"I'll be right back." Twilight said calmly and left, she soon returned with a different baby dragon at her side,"Uh, twilight? Who's that?" Spike asked as he pointed at shade,"Spike, be nice. And that's shade, say hi." Twilight answered him,"Hi, shade." Spike listened to twilight and waved at shade,"Hi." Shade said and waved back in return,"Why don't you two go play for awhile? You know, get to know eachother." Twilight suggested,"Play? Are you kidding?" Spike asked,"You know what I mean. But come on, this is, like, your first time meeting another baby dragon in ponyville!" Twilight smiled,"Okay. Come on, shade!" Spike smiled at shade and the two baby dragons walked out of the castle together.
The rest of the day, the just hung out. Spike wanted to try to do what shade could do and go into a shadow,"Okay, I'm going to do it this time!" Spike cheered confidently,"Alright then, try going into that hills shadow." Shade instructed as she pointed at the shadow of the hill, spike nodded and tried. He failed,"Never mind." Spike sighed in disappointment,"It's fine, spike! You just need to get to know how!" Shade smiled and disappeared into the shadow,"Heh, that'll be never.." spike huffed, shade appeared next to him,"No, it'll not be never." Shade giggled and gently kissed spike on the cheek, spike froze and turned bright pink,"I--I.." spike stuttered, shade giggled,"It's cute when you stutter while blushing." Shade smiled, spike blushed more,"I...Don't understand..." spike mumbled,"Spike, listen, I like you. No, I mean 'like like' you. I felt that way since I met you, I never knew there was another baby dragon. Let alone know there'd be a cute funny one." Shade admitted, spike blushed even more, if possible,"I understand if you hate me now..." shade whispered and looked down at the ground, spike kissed her on her cheek, making her blush. Spike looked into shades eyes,"I like you too, shade." Spike admitted,"R-really?" Shade whispered, spike nodded and hummed in response. Shade smiled and hugged him, and she kissed him on the lips just as the sun began to set...
