John Stewart x Hawkgirl

Info: This is based off the Justice League cartoon Hawkgirl!

   SHAYERA'S POV

  For lunch today, I joined Batman and Wonder Woman. I sat down and sighed, putting my head on the table.

  Batman and Wonder Woman both exchanged a look, before Bruce lifted my chin and Diana said,"Hawkgirl, what's wrong?"

  I just motioned to the next table over. Batman and Wonder Woman looked over and saw John talking to Vixen. I frowned, and tears formed in my eyes. Bruce frowned, too, and led me to the library where no one else was.
  Bruce took a seat next to me and took off his cowl, sighing in the process. I smiled, and he pulled me into a friendly hug.

  I clinged to him and asked him,"Bruce, why can I not talk to him?"

  Bruce just shook his head and rubbed circles on my back.

  Diana handed me tissues and smiled at Bruce saying,"Sometimes, it is about standing up to the guy and showing them you are good enough."

  I chuckled, and Bruce rolled his eyes. I smiled and kissed his cheek. Bruce held my hand and sent me an encouraging smile. I liked the considerate Batman and comforting Wonder Woman. Diana pulled me up, while Bruce pushed in our chairs for the three of us.

  I looked at them confused and said,"What is going on? Where are we going now?"

  Bruce just waved it off and put his cowl back on saying,"Close your eyes."

  I nodded slowly and closed my eyes. I reached for Bruce, and he took my hand, letting me know he was still here with me.

  Diana guided me and said,"Open."

  I opened my eyes and saw John smiling at me with flowers in his hand.
I smiled real big and ran to him, knocking him over.

  He smiled and said,"Shayera, I..."

  I cut John off by kissing him and pulling him close. He smiled in the kiss and pulled me even closer.

  John slowly pulled away and said,"Before you interrupted me, I wanted to say I love you, Shayera."

  I smiled, and of course, tears were already falling down my face.

  John wiped them, and I replied back,"I love you too, John."

  He smirked and pulled me in for a passionate kiss. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around me and handed me the flowers.

  I looked at them and said,"How did you know they were my favorite? I only told...."

  John said,"I had a little help."

  I laughed and turned around. Bruce was holding Diana and said,"I wonder how those got there?"

  I chuckled and kissed his cheek in thank you, before I hugged Diana. Bruce smiled at me, while Diana gave my hand a squeeze. I squeezed her hand in return and held on to John, knowing I had the man of my dreams. How could I forget I had two best friends who were always there when I needed them?
