Jason Todd x Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  I was in the Batcave with Bruce. We were waiting for Jason to come back from his mission. Jason went after Joker and I was worried about him, because Jason's history with Joker was hard to describe in one word. It was a lot.
  I told Bruce I was going to bed and he told me good night, before he kissed my forehead. I let out a yawn and took myself to bed.

  Some time later, I felt Jason get in beside me. He kissed my shoulder, and something felt off.

  I turned around and leaned over Jason, asking him,"Baby, what is wrong with you? What happened out there?"

  Jason sighed, before he stroked my cheek saying,"Something is going on with me. I cannot control what I am doing anymore. I am afraid I might accidentally hurt you, or even kill you. I have terrible dreams, Y/N. It gets so bad that I'll see someone who was never there in the first place. I only know that, because I just know."

  Jason's words and his body language let me know that he wasn't okay; however, tears fell down his face constantly. I pulled him into my arms. Jason buried his face in my neck, crying even harder than before.

  I sighed and said,"Jay, you can't let your fears control your actions. You're not going to hurt me or kill me. Whatever's happening to you, we can't ignore it. I'll see if I can get someone to help you. I'll get the whole family onboard, I just don't want to see anything else happen to you, Jason. I love you."

  Instead of smiling or giving me a kiss, Jason just gazed at me. I couldn't read him at all, so I became worried that maybe he hadn't heard me at all.

  I was still holding him, and he finally spoke to me,"I love you too, Y/N. You promise?"

  I said,"I promise. Did you take a shower?"

  Jason looked annoyed, and I laughed saying,"I'm kidding, Jason. You smell good."

  He slowly smiled at me and buried his face back in my neck, before we talked each other to sleep. Jason needed me, and I was willing to be here for him. I was going to help him with whatever he was dealing with, so that he could be all right. I knew Jason was tired of dealing with one thing after another.
