She never really had that many friends, but when she started secondary school she becomes a part of the "Gay kids" group, and she feels that she'd finally found her real friends. But still, Star feels like she doesn't fit into the world that her friends live in, and she's always left out of the group, especially when they discuss the whole crushes and dating stuff that she HATES. She thinks she's aroace until she discovers that she's developed the worst first crush ever possible.... She falls in love with one of her GIRL best friends... That's when her whole life delves into a world that she's never wanted to be a part of, and after this she'll never be the same again.

I watched as people raced around the halls with some where to go, and me? I had nothing to do no where to be. Charlie wanted a simple summer maybe filled with a little bit of Dave. Of course she never expected a side of Matt. After some blackmailing Charlie gives Matt a chance and soon enough she is smacked in between caught in a big ol' love triangle. In other words Sandwiched.
