Haydonia, a once prosperous nation made up of smaller states, chiefdoms, kingdoms, smaller republics, and factions were once United in the capital city under the flag of the Republic of Light. But following the rising tensions and violence in the Southern and Eastern provinces, several states have seceded and formed a separatist territorial state known as the Dark Federation. As more and more states leave the Republic, a division in parliament is well known throughout Haydonia. No sooner or later, a border between the two separate factions begins to form. But then Lord Dark, leader of the Dark Federation launches a brutal campaign against the Republic thus creating a war. It's now the start of the Great War.

There are ways of knowing if you have a soulmate, 1) A tattoo (soulmate mark) that describes them in a way on some part of your body, preferably the arms, legs, or collarbone. 2) Your first words to each other are written on your inner wrists. or 3) A red string, that only you and that person can see, ties itself around your ring finger; until you find your soulmate, it can never be cut, and the closer you are to your soulmate the lighter the color. Superhero Spidercat, or Pearl Parker, saves the day by swinging in on her (naturally produced) webs. She's your friendly neighborhood Spidercat who has no idea what soulmates are. She originally came from Mississippi but moved to New York to live with her uncle when she was young. Her Uncle Mathew raised her since she was 4, he lost his soulmate a long time ago, and when he saw Pearl's 15 soulmate marks; he told her that they were tattoos her parents gave her before they died. Since soulmates were a rare thing, they weren't talked about as much daily. So she never knew. Cut to right after the Civil War between Captain America and Ironman, Pearl, and her emotional support babies head down to her old home, Mississippi, for a little vacation. She gets a call from Mr. Fury and is told that there is a supervillain near her area. The villain was actually in Louisiana. After the fight with the supervillain, Pearl's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, at least twenty-eight miles away from Baton Rouge. Before she can call for Fury or someone else from the Shield Agency to come and pick her up, a truck stops next to her and offers her a lift to the nearest town. One she'd never even heard of before. What the poor Spidercat does not know, is that some of her soulmates are in that town. And more will be coming for her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is just a soulmate AU mixed with Avengers and Slashers, with a Spidergirl OC.
