Queen Isabella

February 1st, 1544

I walked the corridor with Lina and most of our ladies. The Netherland Royal Court has been with us for nearly a week and it felt amazing being with my other childhood friend again.

"I use to love when Emili sent you to be with us." Lina said as we stopped at one of the windows and looked out into the snow covered yard.

"I used to love that as well. I miss him a lot." I whispered and Lina placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Know he is at peace my friend. And he watches over you and your children." She said as we looked out into the yard and saw my children showing her children how to make snowballs.

Before either of us could say anything I watched as Lady Nesta walked with her husband Lord Richard and stopped near our window.

"Have you heard the rumors?" Richard said and Nesta shook her head.

"What rumors?"

"King Henry is going to divorce Queen Isabella. Right after the Netherland Royals leave." He said and I felt my heart begin to break.

"Divorce her?! Why? She has been a wonderful Queen! An asset to England."

"He is not happy with her. Yes she has given him children but from what I see she is far to friendly with the Prince Bash and now this King. It is rumored much like Anne Boylen, that she was not a virgin." He said and I gasped before Greer covered my mouth.

"Shh, we must hear more."

"How do you know this Richard? If Queen Isabella finds out you are spreading these rumors she shall your head. How will the children and I live without you?"

"How I know? I am in the King's council. he has been speaking of it for weeks. I believe since after she announced her latestly pregnancy."

"Oh my. That poor women. Those poor children." She said before Lina glared at them and picked up snow and threw it at them. They gasped before rushing away.

"Bella," Kenna said and I stood there staring for a moment before clearing my thoart.

"I am Isabella Catherine, Queen of Denmark and Norway. Appointed by God himself to rule over two nations peacefully." I hissed before I turned the direction of Henry's office.

"Lina, I shall see you for lunch soon." I added before I made my way towards Henry's office. I placed my hand on my belly as I reached the office and Henry's guards stared at me.

"Your Majesty." They both said and I smiled at them.

"You will open this door this instance. I command you." I hissed and they quickly scrambled before opening the door. Henry sat at his desk with Charles.

"Bella, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Henry asked and I glared at him before turning to Charles.

"You will leave us."

"He will not. Now what do you want?" Henry hissed and I glared at him.

"Is it true? The rumors I hear?" I asked and I flinched as I heard my voice crack. Henry and Charles stared at me before Charles stood up and cleared his thoart.

"I shall leave you as my Queen has commanded." He said as he bowed his head and walked out of the office. I turned back to Henry and felt a tear fall out.

"Henry, say something!"

"It is true." He stated and I felt my heart drop.

"Why?"

I watched as his eyes racked over me and fell to my belly.

"I do not wish to be married to you any longer. The Pope is on his way so we may discuss it."

"Discuss what Henry? I leave back to Denmark with the children because you will strip them of their English titles?! You aren't happy think of me!" I began as I stepped towards him.

"I gave up everything for you! I lost my family and friends for you! I dealt with you taking others! All of it!" I screamed before I felt a sharp kick and my hands flew to my belly.

"Tell me I am wrong Henry!"

"You may still write to Elizabeth and Edward. But I will not be your husband any longer Isabella."

"What of our children Henry? They adore you." I whispered and he sighed before looking away.

"I do not know. But you shall take them. Now leave Bella. I have work to do." He said not even meeting my eyes.

"I hope you die a slow, painful, and lonely death." I hissed before I marched out of the room where my ladies were waiting for me

"What can we do?"

"Get me Elizabeth and Edward. I must explain everything to them. But before that ready everything. We are leaving to Denmark."
