I walked up to the two of them, Kurona was kneeling next to the girl, still spacing out, but her eyes followed me. She did look rather empty. Her body was limp and seemed useless.

I turn to the man, he's in his twenties, it looks like. He gave me a blank expression and held out his hand. "My name Is Renji Yomo. You must be Levin?"

I nod, shaking his hand. He watched me with great interest, then glanced back at Vin, who just walked up.

"Poor girl. Last time I saw Rize was awhile back when we took this ward from the ghouls that led here." He ran his hand through her hair, and frowned.

"I want you to look after her." Yomo said.

Vin smiled. "And what? Steal my Crow from me too?"

Yomo flinched, looks like Vin hit the bullseye. He wanted me, but for what? I took a step back from him, my sight of him changed to distrust in a moment.

Vin laughed. "Sorry, Raven, but this little bird is mine, not Owls." He smirked.

Yomo glared at Vin, but relaxed after awhile.

"Don't talk about him like that." he said.

Vin smiles. "I wouldn't try back talk with me, Yomo. I'm much stronger than you. And soon, Levin here will be strong too, eh Lev?" He nudged me a bit.

I have a nervous smile on. Who would i be better off with, this Yomo guy or Vin? Vincent said that I wouldn't leave but really its my choice. I look down at Rize. She really is pretty. But her empty eyes and hollow body make her look like a corpse.

I walk over to her as those two argue, and sit next to Kurona, she stares at Rize in longing. "Didn't you call her, mother or something?" I asked.

Kurona nodded. "I was created because of her. With her organs." She said.

So, she was the donor ghoul that was used to make the one eyed ghouls? Such a terrible fate. It was probably torture. Imagine having a tail and it being cut off, then growing back, and getting cut off again, over and over again.

The thought made me shiver. That's when i look in her eyes, and find them still staring at me. I stare back, not making it look like I was scared. But the truth was is that this girl did scare me for some reason. Something about her made me freeze and think about even approaching her.

I take a deep breath and touch her hand, it warm, and when i touch it, surprising me, it slowly and gently clasped around me. Yomo flinched at this. He watched with Vin, has she not done this before?

Yomo frowned. "She hasn't responded to anything in the past few months, but how did you-!"

Rize suddenly bit my arm. My eyes went wide as she gently nibbled near my elbow. Surprisingly, it didnt hurt as much as i thought it would, so when Yomo tried to grab her, i waved him off.

Vin smiled as I let Rize eat my arm, which the thought made me shiver, she's eating me alive, huh, that's something I thought I'd never feel.

Once she was done, she fell back on the couch, and she smiled.

"Tasty..." She said.

Yomo seemed disturbed. "B-But she hasn't eaten anything, she refused to-"

"Looks like Lev has more balls than you thought, Yomo." Vin said, smirking at him. "He's my Crow."
