Kaneki POV

Everyone was quiet in the lobby. Today Re was closed, and everyone from Nest and Re had come together to discuss the recent happenings in the past two days.

It had been two days since Levin disappeared.

Without a trace too. All his things were gone, including his mask. Me and Banjou tried to track him down around the nearby wards, but nothing came up.

Vincent sat in the middle of the group and heaved out a sigh. "Anyone have any last minute ideas where he could've went?" He asked, looking all of us in the eyes.

"We already searched everywhere he could've gone, Vin." Yomo said, crossing his arms and looking at the ground.

"Is there somewhere he went without telling us?" Touka wondered out loud, probably just hopeful thinking at the moment.

The only ones developed in the conversation was me, Vincent, Touka, and Yomo. Hinami was upstairs with Kurona, trying to calm her down, and Nashiro and Rize were watching the tv.

"Arent you two worried at all?" I asked, looking at Rize.

Rize gave me that smirk, sending a chill down my spine. Every time I look at her and she smiles like that, I remember the night I nearly died from her. What would've happened if I did just get eaten by her and those beams didn't fall?

"Of course were worried, you should take a hint when a girl is trying to hold feelings back, virgin." Rize mocked, causing me to fall to my knees in defeat.

That virgin card she played hit me hard.

"But what do we do? He could be anywhere in Tokyo." Touka mumbled, running a hand through her hair.

"In other news, an Aogiri attack was launched this evening on the highway heading to the 15 ward. It was a CCG truck that was ambushed and they freed the captives inside it heading to the facility known as Cochlea."

The news caught my attention and stared at the tv. Where's Levin when you need him, he'd put a stop to Aogiri' sudden rise. Ever since about a week ago, Aogiri stepped up their game and has been giving the CCG a run for their money.

Not to mention, we need Levin here to at least calm Kurona down. When he suddenly disappeared, she went into shock at first, but after calming her down, she's just crying non stop.

Is this... what Touka went through with me?

No, she wouldn't cry or sulk over me. I'm an idiot to even think that as a possibility. She hated my guts for leaving, which brings me surprise that she doesn't still hate my guts.

But if Levin doesn't come back soon, Kurona is only going to feel worse.

I look back at the tv, biting my lip. Wherever you are, Levin, we need you to come back soon.

??? POV

Ah! So that's what she had up her sleeve. What a great turn of events! It seems you won't fall as easily as I thought Eto. Maybe I have to step up my game.

A smile comes to my face as I face the window, looking out to the 24th ward. Maybe I'll set things into gear faster than I thought! Yes! I can already see the despair this will bring.

The choices to be made from every single chess piece, will bring out the outcome of this tragic story!

Just thinking about the blood being spilt makes me shudder. This will make the game I set up even more entertaining!

I walk over to the table, my smirk growing.

"Show me more! Show me how you can struggle in vain!" I said, laughing, the sounds of it echoing off the walls of the large room.

The door opened to show Shachi, walking in and frowning at my sudden show of glee. I slowly calm down, and look him in the eyes.

"What did you need, Shachi?" I asked, still gigging a bit.

Shachi didn't erase his frown. "The spies told me to tell you that Aogiri is starting to gather. We don't know why though." He said in that deep voice of his.

I still smile, knowing the time is almost here for the pieces to start taking lives. One by one, everything will fall into place.

"Go to Kanou' lab." I ordered.

Eto POV

I stand on the roof, the wind of the November air was blistering tonight. I sit on the ledge and swing my legs about.

"Were ready when you are, Eto." Said a voice beside me, I look there to see Ayato, his face sort of grim.

I smile. "Getting nervous?"

Ayato sighed, squinting down at the building. "If we don't finish this quickly, the CCG will be all over it." He said.

"I know. We will move fast. Or are you not confident in yourself?" I said, making him flinch and frown.

"Shut it. I'm getting into position. C'mon, Seidou." Ayato said, making the white haired man stand slowly.

"Fine... all I have to do is kill all the enemies right?" Seidou said, a giant lunatic of a smile on his face.

"Yes. That's all." I said, he nodded in excitement and followed Ayato off the roof, and down into the alleyways.

Another figure walked up behind me. I look behind me and smile. This is only more fun with him here. He was now wearing an Aogiri black jacket, and his mask over his face. He stared off at the building, and then looked down at me.

"We going in soon?" He asked, his voice dark.

I stand and skip around him happily. "Yes yes~! I hope you can live up to the attack on the highway!"

"That was easy. Now let's get going, I'm tired of waiting." He said, his voice demanding.

"Ah~! I love it when your pushy! This is why I like you so much." I said, jumping up behind him and hugging him from behind. He doesn't have a reaction, just glances back at me.

He turns and I jump off of him, he stops at the edge of the roof and looks back at me, taking off his mask to let loose his dark blueish hair. His irises glowed red, signaling he could already feel his prey below.

"Your the one who promised me info. I want Kanou alive." Levin said, his face empty of emotion.

I nod. "Of course."

He turned, and jumped off the roof, signaling the raid to begin. Aogiri members cheered in rage and followed his example.

"Follow the Crow! Attack!" They said, all charging towards the lab.

Let the destruction begin!
