Levin POV

I burst through the room, my hands bloody and my kagune fully out, glowing the dark azure. I spotted Shuu, standing with a crazy smile on his face, looking over someone.

I noticed that the person was the dove, named Sasaki Haise. His white and black hair clinched to his forehead from sweat, he was cringing on the ground, grunting in some sort of pain, his hands clenching his head.

"Kaneki! Finally!" Shuu yelled in triumph.

Kaneki? Who's Kaneki? I looked down at Sasaki, his eyes wide and not moving, I flinch when I see his left eye turn into a kakugan. Red veins spread across around his eye, and he gritted his teeth.

Sasaki is a half ghoul? But he's a dove! That's impossible! They would've checked him if he was a ghoul, wouldn't they? Something's going on here... does this have to do with Touka's reaction to him?

And that name... Kaneki. Who was that? Was it Sasaki? Why was Shuu calling Sasaki, Kaneki?

My head mixed with thoughts and ideas. But nothing came up, I'll need someone to explain it to me. I turn my head slowly to Shuu, still not noticing me come into the room.

"Time to take advantage." Said Ghoul.

I smile and swipe my kagune, hitting him and sending him into a wall, making debris fly everywhere. Shuu got up, a frown on his face, as if he was having a great time and I'd just Shit on it.

I grin. "I thought you were gonna eat me?" I asked.

Shuu smiled. "I will. As an appetizer for the real meal." He said, looking at Sasaki, who was still on the ground.

"Let's see you try." I said, aiming my talons at him as I got into a battle position.

Shuu ran forward, slashing at me and slicing my arm a bit. With my real arm, I bop him in the chin, making him bite his tongue. My kagune swipes him off his feet at lighting speeds, and with my other one, I slam him into the ground, making a crater.

"I thought you were the famous Gourmet, aren't you strong?" I said with a grin.

Shuu crawled out of the crater, blood dripping from his forehead. He had a light smile on his face, still laughing a bit. I don't like this guy's attitude, I thought he was a weirdo from the beginning anyway... and he tricked me.

I take a step towards him, making him look up at me. My talons opened up, as if ready to snatch up prey. One of them instantly stabbed into his shoulder, pinning him down, the other aimed at his chest.

"You said you were gonna eat me?" I asked, scratching my head.

Shuu made a confused face.

I smile, something dark pulling itself into me, as if a cold piece of ice was running down my throat. "Vin said something about 'eating a ghoul will increase another ghouls strength' or something like that, right?" I asked him.

Shuu didn't seem to flinch or care, he was staring at Sasaki. I look over at him, and see that Sasaki was getting up, walking towards the exit while clenching his kakugan eye. Shuu tried to get up, to chase after him, but I pushed him back down.

"You want him bad?" I asked.

Shuu screamed out. "I do! I do!" He yelled.

"Your being noisy." My talon stabbed a bit into his chest, making blood pour out, and Shuu struggle, he didn't mind the pain though, if anything, he didn't even feel it.

I was about to go deeper, but a sudden feeling went over me, warm and caring. I turn my head behind me, and see that Kurona was standing there, squinting at me with a blank face.

I flinch for some reason, as if I was scared of her. Why was she here, though? I told her and Vin to run! I was about to yell at her to go, but she beat me to it.

"Your not Levin!" She said suddenly.

"Huh?" I mumbled. "What... are you... talking about?" I said slowly.

Kurona took a step forward, making me shiver, was aimed afraid of her? Why was I afraid of her? She was Kurona, not an enemy. But... I think I know why.

She got close to me, and grabbed my hand suddenly, pushing it to her cheek. That warm feeling went over me again, and my head started to spin.

I'm in my mind again, Human and Ghoul there. Ghoul is on the ground, mumbling random things like a mantra. Human is staring into space, as if not noticing anything.

"Whats going on?" I asked.

Human looked down at Ghoul with a sorrow glance. "He is not accepted by you. Your doubting him, therefore, soon, he'll be gone and trapped in here with me again."

"What do you mean, he's right there, wasn't he here the whole time?" I asked.

Human smiled softly. "No. Don't you remember? You gave the body to him, therefore, he fought, and did horrible things... acted like a monster."

"He made me a monster..." I said slowly.

Human sighed. "Your wrong. YOU made YOURSELF a monster. WE ARE YOU, YOU ARE US. You just haven't seen it yet." He explained.

"Huh?" I mumbled, just like I did when I heard what Kurona said.

"Your not Levin." She had said.

Back in the real world... I clenched my head, it was pounding, and I screamed in pain. Not me not me not me not me not me!

That's not me!

Who?

Who is Levin?

Who am I?

"Aaaaaah!" I screamed, scratching at my head from the pain, so much it was drawing blood. I'm suddenly punched in the gut, the wind is knocked out of me and I fall to my knees, into someone's arms.

Kurona whispers into my ear. "Just be you... that's who Levin is." She whispered, making tears come to my eyes.

I slipped into unconsciousness, along with the other "me's". They still asked me the same question, "who are you?" But shouldn't it be "who am I?"

Is that what they wanted me to see? That they are me and there's nothing I can do about it? Question after question that I can't answer right now...

It's better to sleep.
