Levin POV

Standing above everyone, like a king above ants made me feel a bit good. But then there's mostly the guilt and conscious that washes over me, like standing under a waterfall.

I cross my legs and stare off at the city. Soon V will make a move, everyone is in place. And from my info, the Clowns are going to work directly today to surprise the CCG in an attack.

Rize was sent to organize our forces, we were going to join in this fight, and make use of the commotion. I'll get the info I need inside of CCG.

When all of the investigators are out fighting and saving the city, I'll infiltrate the CCG HQ. any ghoul would say that this is suicide, but I've done riskier things.

I smile at this development, and stretch out my arms and yawn. Behind me a voice rings out.

"Were ready. We'll meet up with you when your ready." Rou said, her arms crossed, her smile menacing.

I nodded. "Of course, afterwards I'll get you a drink. On me." I said, which made her smile seductively as she left.

Make a good relationship with her was important. Once all her followers realize that I'm the better leader and stronger, which is already happening, I'll use her up. As anyone would do with tools.

My first objective inside will be info from V members there, specifically the Washuu clan. I'll kill them all if I have to.

My hands move to my neck and I scratch it. The cities glowing lights, some moving lights of cars. It looked like the starry sky was plastered across the landscape.

It is then that I feel a small drop of rain land on my nose. I stop scratching, I don't know how long I've been scratching my neck, but when I look at my hands my nails have blood on them.

I feel my neck and find that I've hurt myself. Oh well.

Standing I start to feel even more rain begin to fall. It's about time. I'm about to jump off the building and get in my car when a voice rings out, echoing across the rooftop, almost covered by the sound of rainfall.

"Levin!" I heard a yell.

Freezing in place, I glance over at Ayato, who is standing on another roof near the one I'm on. We stare at one another as I pull my mask on.

"Where are you going?!" He yelled at me. Behind him I could see other figures. The others are coming as well.

Gritting my teeth, I drop off the building, and climb into my car before they can follow. How did they find my location? They probably know something's gonna happen soon also.

I turn my ear com on and speak into it. "Situation with the clowns?" I asked.

"Their about a few seconds to impact." Rize said on the other end.

"Then let it begin. I'm heading in."

Please, don't interrupt me. If I am confronted with all of you, I cannot let you take me back.

Kurona POV

His car was already long gone by the time me and the others caught up with Ayato, who was currently swearing under his breath and kicking a wall.

Hinami grabbed his shoulder and started to calm him down while Kaneki walked up to the edge of the building and stared off at the car zooming down the streets.
