The light blonde girl raised an eyebrow when the lollipop was crush between his teeth. "How do you not have cavities by now?"

"As long as I keep clean, it doesn't matter how many of these I eat." He responded nonchantly.

"Every adult on this planet would disagree with you."

"Like I care."

They continued to work in silence, both casting glances at each other once in a while. Truly, they were both questioning why that woman had trusted them for this, but they already knew from the minute she approached them with this plan that she was not sane.

You couldn't be when you decided to cross with an organization like the World Sabers. And for a reason as dumb as that...?

Kyouji narrowed his eyes when he felt something inside him twist. There was no way he felt sorry for those people. Absolutely no way. He glanced at the light blonde on the other side of the room.

She seemed to be deep in thought now as well. Just like him, she had strayed from the World Sabers and is now on the run from them, not unlike that Mavis person. As for why...

At that moment, Charlotte looked up at him, only to see his back facing her. "Itan."

"It's Kyouji." Itan was the soldier who found him on the street all those years ago. He didn't need the name of a dead man on his back anymore.

"Kyouji, how many of them were there back then?"

The kids, huh... "90% of them were kidnapped. Whether their parents are alive or not wasn't in any of their records." He clicked his tongue, annoyed at a certain memory. "Day one, they bawled their eyes out, but as soon as the week ends, they all learned to suck it up."

"None of them wanted to be there."

"No sh-" For whatever reason, he let that one look from her shut his mouth. He clicked his tongue again. "I mean, hell, I didn't want to be there either."

"Then why did you follow him?" Seredy Kreisler. The man who killed his former mentor and got him to join that terrorist group.

She was trying to read him. Cute. Would he let her, though? As if.

"Why don't you tell me why you agreed to this?" He turned to face her, and his eyes widened when he did.

Her usual blank expression was gone. It was replaced with a determined look, one that resonated with his own. "Same as you. I'm here for revenge."

The school bell rang, indicating the start of class. It's been well over a week since they arrived, and there had been no further news from the adults.

Hannah hadn't recieved anything from Wataru either. She was anxious about what he'd find, but she didn't want to rush him either. Finding out your long lost sister was not actually your sister would bring shock to anyone. But then what about her grandparents?

Her thoughts were interrupted when the door opened. Miss Mito came in, with two new students tailing behind her. "Nikolai Yezerverk. Please take note that these two will be joining your platoon from now on."

"Ah... Alright."

They had similar faces. Hannah would immediately assume they were related if it weren't for their hair. One of them had long, light blue hair, while the other was grey-ish and much shorter.

The one with light blue spoke first. "My name is Fran."

The other one followed. "I'm San."

They both bowed in perfect sync. "Nice to meet you."

They were silent in class, and weren't very expressive when others approached them in break time. But shock ran through the entire Second World, when both siblings displayed their abilities in War Time.

"Heliorosa!"

"Digitonias!"

Fran's LBX was white with some kind of flower theme for its design. San's was a similar colour with horns on its head. Both were capable of fierce attacks and, together, they had a perfect defense.

The brunete didn't like the idea of someone replacing her brother, but she had to admit that they were a great addition to the team. That night, she took her time analyzing the two LBXs as she repaired them.

"If you came to say goodbye, then you're way too late." A light blonde boy stood by the docks, watching the sunset. A soccer ball was on his side, held firmly under one arm.

"I've already said my goodbyes to them." A woman stood behind him, following his gaze. "It's almost time."

"We still have another few days. Must be hard to sneak around and escape a secret base in a secluded part of the world."

"She didn't specify any dates this time." Her eyes narrowed as she sighed. "She only said that to make sure they don't worry."

"Mmhm." The boy nodded, but didn't bother facing her. His gaze was focused on the distance.

She eyed him before continuing. "They should be fine. Gouda and the others are there, after all."

The boy rolled his eyes at that. "Saki-san, of course I know they're fine. I can feel it." A hand went to his chest. "Nothing is supposed to go wrong. Not yet."

Saki gave a smile as she turned to him. "Do you regret not going with them, Asta?"

He grunted. "Hardly. LBXs aren't my forte." He dropped the ball and kicked it to the sea.
