Small steps could be heard from the other end of the corridor. It was late in the night, much later than midnight. The sound continue to echo as they step closer and closer to a door. When it opened, the steps continue to make their way down the stairs. She didn't bother taking the elevator, not when she was only two floors up.
Reaching the lobby, she opened the door and sat down by the stairs. She looked up at the dark sky, her long hair flowing in the wind as she stared at the countless of stars above her.
Letting out a sigh, she pulled out her phone and a picture of a card appeared. "The magician..."
A chuckle came from behind her. "Alright, you got me."
She turned to the man and watched as he took a seat beside her. "Nii-chan."
"It's good to see you too, Kiyoka." Sendou said, patting the girl's head. "Sorry I couldn't talk to you properly earlier."
"It's fine. You and Gouda-san had always been like that." She replied, her face still as blank as usual.
The two siblings took their time catching up on each other.
"I've been worried, especially since the Seredy thing happened." Sendou muttered. "But in the end, everyone's alright."
Kiyoka nodded. "Yes. Thank you for trusting me enough."
"It wasn't that I trust you." He sighed. "I mean, I did, and you're okay... But the reason why I couldn't leave was because we got tied down here as well."
"Because they wanted the adults to help from mainland, right?"
"Right... And things've been hard. Especially since-" The words got caught in his throat, choking him a bit.
The younger girl blinked. "Since...?"
His face fell and he shook his head. "I'm in no position to say anything about it... You're just... Going to have to wait... I'm sorry..."
"Wait for-" Her eyes widen as she cut herself short.
Tears? Her brother, Sendou Daiki, a member of the infamous Seekers and a former gang leader, was crying right in front of her. She didn't know how to react. Even during the times their parents were being hard on him, he had always waved it off and he never cared about anything. And yet, now he's crying?
A shiver went down her spine. Perhaps they had underestimated the situation they're in. Either way, there's no backing down now.
"Nii-chan." She said bravely. Her brother only nodded to let her know he's listening. "We're going to stop the enemy. So whatever bad thing that had occured, we'll make sure it never happens again."

"So what exactly will we be doing?" Haruki asked the adults.
Everyone turned to Ban, who only sighed. "Unfortunately, we have no way of tracking them yet. But we know that they targetted places that the Seekers have ever fought in before." He turned to the blonde man by the computer. "Kirito, if you don't mind..."
"I mind."
The Russian woman smacked his head and messed with the controls. Pictures of the ruined places pulled up and covered the screen. "You're welcome."
"Most of these places are over seas, but the ones in Japan are focused around the area of Tokio City." Hiro continued.
"Because of this, we can assume that whoever we're fighting is an old enemy of the Seekers." Ami stated.
"We also think that the incident on Kamui Island months ago had a connetion to these attacks." Kazuya finished.
"So it really is the World Sabers then?" Hikaru asked.
"It's unconfirmed, but that's the most likely answer." Takuya replied, his arms crossed.
"But that's strange." Sakuya pipped up. "You said that it's most likely an old enemy of the Seekers... But the World Sabers only started taking action about two years ago?"
"That would mean that the old enemy, whoever they are, had joined forces with the World Sabers terrorist group after Seredy Kreisler was defeated." Takeru theorized.
"That would explain the six month hiatus they went on." Vanessa muttered.
"You think they held six-month long welcoming ceremonies?" Nikolai said sarcastically.
"No, but it's long enough for them to plan a counter attack." Hannah sighed as she cast a glance at Watatu. She really didn't want him involved in this.
"Based on the places they attack, it's easy to say they're trying to threaten the Seekers." Mikhail said, studying over the pictures.
"There could be something else to it though." Kiyoka stated.
Kageto nodded. "What about the date and time each explosion occured? The facilities they place the bomb in, the amount of people in the surrounding area, even the type of bomb they use. All this could help finding out their motives, right?"
The adults turned to each other. Gouda opened his mouth first. "We get that you faced some scary stuff back then..."
Sendou nodded. "It's only natural that you'd try to be on guard afterwards, but..."
Asuka blinked. "How exactly did you know all that?"
"Our school was a warzone even before Seredy." Muraku bluntly replied. "This is the least we'd know."

They spent several days going in and out of the conference room. Each day was the same as the previous one. Nothing new had came up and tjat was both a good and a bad thing. Good because nothing else had been attacked, bad because they had no more leads.
Kirito spent the nights searching up what Kageto suggested. He pulled up the date and time, as well as the number of causalities. Each one was at a random point and didn't turn up helpful at all. The only thing the couldn't find was the type of bombs they used.
Come to think of it, no one ever knew how the bombs got into the targetted areas in the first place. He switched his priorities to the security cameras.
While watching all the monitors and having the computers scanning over them at once, he got a call.
Picking it up, he groaned. "I said I'll keep you updated. If I haven't called, that means I haven't found anything new."
"No, that's not why I contacted you."
"Then...?"
The black and white haired boy sighed. "I'm on my way to mainland."
