"People of Tokio City... You may remember who I am. I am Detector." The masked man began. "We ruled over the world five years ago, reigning terror upon those against us. We have now joined forces with the World Sabers. Fear this day as we remind you the tragedy that befall into this place 15 years ago."

The screen switched to a footage of Tokio Bridge. Just like yesterday, it was in ruin, but then another explosion occurred. And another, and another. The rain of fire didn't stop until the entire bridge and the surrounding land was completely destroyed.

Adults and children alike, they could all only watch in fear at the remains of the bridge. It was beyond repair now.

Takuya was first to snap out of the shock, only to have an even worse thought dawn on him. "Yagami!"

~~~~~
The day before, Yagami had recieved a call from Kousuke, telling him about something appearing in the blonde's sensors. Yagami was more than a little curious about why the new Kamiya Craft would need those, but he was grateful as they were helpful in this case.
That morning, he took his group with him. The three agents were lively, as always, but also remained disciplined. After all, they knew of their boss' loss. Using their LBXs to help move a few rocks, they found a container.
Yagami's eyes widened when he realized it was beeping. "RUN!"
They made a break for it and the detonator went off, as soon as they were out of range.
Making sure his comrades are alright, he was relieved to know no one was hurt. They steered clear of the area, in case any more explosives went off, and that's exactly when Detector's message played for them.
Yagami almost heaved a sigh of relief when all the other explosions went off. Almost. There weren't any casualties this time, but the sight of the bridge sinking into the cloud of dust reminded him of the day he thought he lost everything. It brought back unpleasant memories that he'd rather keep hidden in the back vault of his mind.
The ring of his phone snapped him out of his thoughts. "Takuya?"
"You're alright!" The man on the other end sighed in relief.
"Yeah. We're fine. Everyone's fine..."
"Yagami?" It took him less than a second to understand. "Right... I'll give you some space. Take a break and return when you feel better."
"Yeah... I think I'll do that. Tell Jin not to worry about me. He has his own issues to deal with." With that, he ended the call.
~~~~~

Jin woke up with a jolt. He hadn't been able to relax in the recent months, his senses constantly on edge to even the smallest things. So when he felt the slightest quake in his hospital room, his eyes shot open and he turned on the TV immediately.

Every channel was hijacked by his former enemy. But he didn't understand why he would return now. He was sure the last people who posed as Detector were in jail. Or perhaps their sentence was done and they want revenge? Either way, he didn't want to wait around. He was about to call his friends, but the masked man reappeared on screen.

"Did you like our light show?" His formal and intimidating demeanor from earlier, changed to a much more casual and taunting one. "This is merely a warning to the children that went against us in the past. We have gotten much more power than before. The World Sabers will rule. Stay out of our way." And with that, the transmission ended.

Jin didn't waste any more time. He picked up his phone and called Ban and the others.

"Hello?"

"Ban, it's me."

"Ah, Jin! We were just about to call you."

"Is Yagami-san alright?"

"Yeah. He told us to tell you not to worry about him. No one got hurt this time."

"That's good." There was a pause before he spoke again. "Ban, I'm going to head back now."

"Oh? They said you're allowed out?"

"It's not like I'm injured. I'm just here to rest, I could leave whenever I want."

"Oh, right... Alright. See you here?"

"No, I'll be going home for a bit. I need to make a few calls. I'll head to Tiny Orbit in the afternoon."

"Okay. Take care, Jin."

"You too."

The call ended and he did as he had mentioned, taking a taxi as his means of transportation. Reaching the little house he owned since he moved back from Country A, he opened the door with a sigh. "I'm home..."

No reply. Of course there wasn't.

It was a force of habit. It wasn't that long ago that a very cheerful "Welcome back!" would reply to him from the living room, or a bone-crushing hug would stop him from even finishing that statement. The blonde girl would fuss about if he came home without saying anything.

He looked around the room. The walls were all roughly the same color. Either white or grey. The furniture were also nothing out of the ordinary, so the color of her hair would always catch his attention. It went to the point where it started distracting him from work. He remembered asking her to dye her hair one time, though that ended against his wishes with her 'insulting' his haircut. It was just that he always thought the yellow was out of place. But now that it was gone, he missed it.

Sighing to himself, he sat down on his desk and made a call to an old friend.
