They prioritized the children first. Yagami, Takuya and the others had all gone to the hospital, where those who survived were sent to for a check up.
"Haruki! Arata!" Hikaru, Sakuya and a lot of others called out as they enter the shared room.
"Muraku!" "Muraku-san!" "Muraku-senpai!" The ex-Rossius platoons went to their comrade.
"Everyone!" Arata waved as their friends flooded in.
"We're all fine. There's no need to worry." Muraku said, smiling slightly.
"You kidding?! You nearly got blown to bits! How could we not worry?!" Vanessa rambled on about how they rushed here as soon as they heard and how concerned everyone was.
"But it's good that you all made it out without a scratch." Mikhail sighed.
"Even so..." Haruki trailled off, beginning to shake. "The bridge took lots of lives..."
"And this time, they're for real." Takeru muttered.
It wasn't like the incident they faced the year before. Ayabe had saved them from a genocide by replacing the poison gas with sleeping gas, meaning all the children who were considered LOST, didn't truly die. This time however, the bridge took every man, woman and child to oblivion.
Kiyoka pulled up a card on her phone. "Death..." Loss...
Arata clenched his fists. "Damn those terrorist!"
"What about the adults?" Wataru asked.
"Niara and the others are checking on them now." Nikolai stated.
The three that were victims exchanged glances before turning back to the rest. Arata spoke up. "Jin-san blacked out."
"Eh?" Grunts of confusion resounded throughout the room before he statement dawned on them. "HE WHAT?!"
~~~~~
"Jin-san!"
After getting the nurses to let the three out of their room, they all rushed to see their teacher.
Takuya stood up and stopped them. "Whoa! Hold up, everyone!"
"Jin's not well enough to see you guys just yet." Hiro said from behind him.
It took some effort, but the adults managed to calm the kids down, explaining what happened.
"You all know the basic." Niara sighed. "The boys got attacked while they were driving off to the remains of the hidden lab."
"For sure, the ones who set the bomb is the same as all the other incidents." Ami continued.
"You guys got lucky and just narrowly escaped falling into a fire pit." Kazuya commented.
"And six of you got out unscratched." Asuka finished.
"But then, why is Jin-san..." Takeru worried for his vice-commander.
"It's traumatic shock." Kirito replied begrudgingly. The children turned to him with surprised faces, causing the blonde to sigh. "This isn't the first time Tokio Bridge fell like that."
Ban nodded solemnly. "This is the second. And both times, Jin was a victim..."
"This is the second time...?" Arata asked, clearly shocked.
"The first time was 15 years ago." Gouda stated. "And at that time, Jin-"
He was cut off by a slap to the back of his head by Sendou. "Idiot! We're in no position to tell any of that! Even we weren't supposed to know! We found out by accident, so don't you start spoiling people's personal lives like that!"
