Adam's death was honestly the biggest disgrace of all of animated series history. It was meaningless and just didn't do anything. When he went(because we all knew he was going to die eventually), he was supposed to die in a way that left a huge impact on the story and their lives and Blake's well being and he have even died a hero. But instead, all that potenial for a good redemption arc or a meaningful death was wasted.
They could have left him too! Blake and Yang did have a choice! His weapon was GONE. His aura was just. GONE. He was clearly shook after realizing he didn't do anything to Yang with his semblance(which is complete GARBAGE. i refuse to believe that she could stand that blow without a scratch). But they straight up killed him. He went for a bRoKEn sWoRd and they killed him! Even if he got it, they still could've taken him up with ease. but no, because they are the strong and hurt and broken protagonists, it's okay for them to kill him because they HaD nO cHoICe! That was straight up murder. And then they have the nerve to throw a us into a bumbleby bonfire after they murdered someone. I don't want to see a ball of what is supposed to be cute bumbleby fluff after they MURDERED a character with so much potential!
Honestly. Adam deserved better.
