Chapter 104: Love Sick?

The Golden Assassin was spotted, searching through the school's library and was soon accompanied by the Grim Reaper... Her actions seemed out of place... And the answer was given...

A library is where most people, including yourself enjoy reading in peace. You were selecting some interesting books and held them in your hand as Rito happens to be there as well.

Rito: Man... History class is killing me...

(y/n): I'm always around if you need help, Risa.

Rito: Risa?

(y/n): Hmm? Oh, my apologies. I've been so used to Risa asking for help whenever she whines about studies. Doesn't change the fact that I care for her.

Rito: Oh, that's good that you have someone you care for.

Suddenly you and Rito heard some books falling over as the two of you went to investigate. After checking one of the sections, you spotted Yami sitting on the ground with books scattered around her and a book on her head.

(y/n): Yami? Are you alright?

You, without any hesitation began putting the books back where they belong before picking the book off Yami's head.

Yami: I'm fine.

(y/n): Alright then... Please be careful next time, alright?

Yami: Ok...

Yami replied before spotting a book you have missed on the ground as she gently lifted it in her hand as stands up.

Yami: He-

However the minute she stood up, she suddenly stumbles towards you and leans her body on yours, catching you off guard as you blushed.

(y/n): Y-Yami?!

Yami: What...?

Yami didn't move from where she is as you blinked your eyes before asking.

(y/n): Hey, Y-Yami? Are you alright... Eh?

However, when you placed your hand on her forehead, she was burning hot as you spoke.

(y/n): You're heating up, Yami.

Yami: I'm fine...

Yami tried to move but ended up stumbling and lose balance as you quickly held her before she could fall.

(y/n): Clearly you're not. But that's fine...

You raised a index finger as a long black needle slowly appear from the tip of your finger.

(y/n): Just hold still and I'll absorb whatever sickness you have.

Yami: Are you sure?

You gave Yami a small smile before replying.

(y/n): If it means curing you, then... Yes!

[Timeskip with Yami sitting next to a sleeping (y/n), near a beautiful waterfall as she rests her head on his shoulder.]

Lala: Come on, Rito! Hurry up!

Rito: I-I'm trying! But he's so... Damn... Heavy! What is he made out of?!?

Outside of the school... Rito and Lala were in a hurry to Ms. Mikado's place as Lala carries an unconscious Yami on her back and Rito had you on his back... You were sweating and breathing very heavily... After absorbing whatever sickness Yami had, she fell unconscious while you slowly began to get sick and fell on the ground groaning...

(y/n): Five Horsemen... Broken seals... Master Louise... Saito...

Rito: Hang in there, (y/n)! Huh?

Rito looked over his shoulder to see your right arm was missing, stopping and turning around, he spotted your arm on the ground as the skin slowly melts away as Rito's eyes went wide open and screamed before he sprinted past Lala who is carrying Yami.

Rito: AAAAAHHH DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!!!!

Lala: Ritoooo! No so fast! Slow down!

Lala then runs behind Rito as you continued to mumble nonsense...

(y/n): Corruption... Absalom... Don't leave me alone... Please...

And with Rito running and Lala following behind, everything fades to black... And the title "To Love Ru" appeared as the title was untouched and silence fills the air.
