Chapter 77: Responsibility? Over A Single Child?

Rito: Yea, but I don't remember Celine looking like... This.

You hummed in response to Rito, leaning one a couch inside the house. The little girl, Celine was sleeping on the said couch after you and Yami got inside while you and Mikan had an argument for at least seven minutes. It was unexpected and sudden from her as Yami, Rito, Lala, Momo, Nana and Ultron were in the living room.

Nana: Hmmph rude and a kidnapper.

(y/n): Hush creature, we just talked about the child not having any bloody parents.

Nana: Why you!

You simply sighed before looking at Ultron, seeing that he's the only one that decided to visit you as you questioned.

(y/n): And Frieza? I was expecting him to come here too.

Ultron: The lizard is just out in space, training and all. As for me, I came here to let you know that I'll be heading to America.

Ultron said as he takes a rather fabulous pose, you just stared at him before speaking.

Momo began, after Ultron made his leave to America as you turn to Celine and nodded.

(y/n): Seems like it, she's been asleep after we found her. I'm surprised my and Mikan yelling didn't wake her.

Rito: Kind of like you.

You turn to Rito, standing beside you as he explains.

Rito: You sleep a lot and you never wake up when there's any loud noises. Almost like she's a small version of you.

(y/n): Really now? Lets see...

Rito: What are you- H-HEY!

You LITERALLY grabbed Celine by the head as you began to shake her like a doll.

(y/n): HEY!!! WAKE UP YOU BABY!!!! THOU SHALL WAKEN BEFORE THY!!!!! THUS REFUSES TO WAKE BEFORE ME?!?!?!?

You then stopped shaking... Causing everyone but Lala to be in shock as you blinked your eyes.

Suddenly Yami formed her hair into a large hand and smacked you across the head before speaking.

Yami: Rude to treat the child like that.

(y/n): S-Sorry... First time.

Nana: You monster!

(y/n): Oh shut it! Before I bite your tongue out!

[Timeskip with Momo leaning on (y/n)'s chest as he shows no sign of interests and looks away while Momo desperately begs for his attention.]

Mikan: Rito! I'm done using the shower! It's your turn... Hmm?

Hours has past and Mikan walked into the living room, drying her hair after a nice shower. Once she stepped into the living room, she spotted you sitting on a couch with Celine on your lap and her back on your stomach as the two of you were asleep.

Mikan: Now he's asleep?

Yami: Peaceful, isn't he?

Mikan noticed that Yami was sitting beside you, quiet as always as Mikan asked.

Mikan: Yami? Your still here?

Yami: Yes. I decided to stay here for the night. If you don't mind.

Mikan: No, I'm alright with that.

After Mikan replied, the two heard your yawning as they turn to you as you placed a hand on your head.

(y/n): Ugh... Not that dream again... It's obvious that it can never work... We're both weapons basically and we're designed to kill and nothing more... I really need to figure out what this feeling is or-

You immediately went silent after turning your head to the side to see Yami, sitting right beside you as she stared at you while a deep red blush forms on your face.

Yami: Who were you referring to?

(y/n): U-U-Uhm...

You immediately wrapped your arms around Celine and stood up from the couch and spoke.

(y/n): I-I-I think it's time for me and Celine to head to bed! Hahahaha goodnight!

You began to speed walk out of the living room and towards upstairs as Yami pokes her head over the couch while Mikan was surprised to see your reaction.

Mikan: Was... Was be blushing?
