Chapter 36: A secret between you and I.

This has been the journey so far...

The human girl takes the Grim Reaper to her home... A kind offer while the rain shall soon stop... And the Reaper feels like she can be trusted.

Haruna: Your clothes should be dried in half an hour.

(y/n): It's alright. I can wait.

You said, sitting on Haruna's bed after she offered to to stay at her placed till the rain stops. Now your just wearing a towel around your waist as Haruna was just placing your wet clothes in the laundry machine along with the jacket you landed her.

Haruna: Uhm... (y/n)?

(y/n): Yes? What is it?

Haruna: Why do you carry your backpack with you all the time? It's the weekend.

(y/n): Hmm, backpack? Oh right, I forgot I had that with me.

As you said this, Haruna carried the bling backpack towards her room where your in, however the backpack was quite heavy as she could barley hold on to it much longer and decided to place it on a small table that she has.

Haruna: What are you carrying in here?

Haruna reached towards the zipper of your backpack but she hesitated a bit, thinking that it be rude to go through your stuff.

Haruna: I really shouldn't... But... Just a small peak won't hurt.

Haruna simply opens the backpack and what she saw was very strange as she lifted what appears to be a mask...

Haruna: What is this?

???: Beautiful, isn't it?

Haruna gasped in fear as the voice surprised her, she accidentally drops the mask and thankfully you have caught it before it could hit the ground.

Haruna: O-oh (y/n)! I-I didn't mean to-

(y/n): It's meant for a king.

Haruna: Eh?

Haruna then sees you looking at the mask in your hand as you continued.

(y/n): It wasn't easy reaching the ranks with those creatures, but I managed to get through it. Now they seem me as their king... But that will wait till their current king passes.

You then turned towards Haruna as she was too distracted by your tone body with scars almost everywhere around your body as you apologized.

(y/n): My apologize, didn't mean to ramble some... Uh... Crazy stuff.

Haruna: N-n-n-no it's ok... It's ok.

Haruna said as you could see her face was completely red as you looked down to see your naked body, except for the towel around your waist as you placed the mask back inside the backpack and lift the backpack over your shoulder.

(y/n): I'll wait in the room.

And as you left from her sight, she turns around and stutters.

Haruna: I-I-I-I w-w-will m-make some... T-t-tea for us while... We wait.

[Timeskip Haruna trying to make tea with (y/n) helping... However with (y/n) wearing absolutely nothing, not even a towel, making it hard for Haruna to focus.]

While you were waiting for your clothes to dry and the rain to stop, you hear a knock on the door as you looked up to see Haruna poking her head in from the door as she asked.

Haruna: Tea?

You smiled and nodded.

(y/n): Please.

Haruna smiled as she carefully walks in with a tea set as you could smell the tea from where you are.

(y/n): You really shouldn't, Haruna.

Haruna: It's alright, I thought you'd want some while your clothes-

However Haruna accidentally trip on her own feet as she she was about to fall forward with the tea in the air... However she didn't fell to the ground as you wrapped your left arm around her waist and used your right hand to catch the tea.

(y/n): You alright?

Haruna didn't respond as she was inches away from yours as she blushes.

(y/n): Haruna?

She yet again didn't respond as you and Haruna just starred into each other's eyes as Haruna slowly inches closer as both your lips were barely touching as everything fades to black as the title "To love Ru" appeared and the title is untouched and no sounds were heard, just complete silence.
