Chapter 10: Don't mess with a chef.

This has been the journey so far.

The fifth horseman, The human and the alien princess now returned home after they attended school, young Mikan prepares a delicious dish and the princess... Wishes to be apart of the cooking.

Rito: Ugh...

(y/n): You seem bummed out Rito. Did something happened?

Rito: It's... Nothing (y/n).

You, Lala and Rito are back home after school, and you found Rito laying on the couch facing down as you and Lala stood behind the couch.

Lala: Wasn't the teacher funny today?

All Rito did was groan as you crossed your arms and raised a brow.

(y/n): Are you sure your alright? You've acting strange lately.

Rito groans again as Mikan walked in the living room with her apron on as she spoke.

Mikan: I prepared dinner for you guys since you two seem to like hot food.

You turned towards Mikan while Lala had a happy look on her face.

Lala: Really? Yay!!

(y/n): Did you made the food?

Mikan was slightly shocked by this question as she had a slight embarrassed look as she asked.

Mikan: Did... Did you not want me to?

You smiled as you walked towards her and gently pat her head as you responded.

(y/n): No Mikan, I was saying you could of asked for help.

Mikan: O-oh...

Mikan looked away as she has a slight blush on her face as Lala ran towards Mikan and immediately hugs her as she jumps in joy.

Lala: So what are we having???

Moments later, you, Lala and Rito were in the kitchen as "Sukiyaki" was served on the table as Zastin was here too, Lala and Zastin were eating rapid fast for how delicious the food was as you, Rito and Mikan were eating normally as you used your chop sticks and took a bite of the rice.

(y/n): Mmm this is really good!

Zastin: AGREED!!!

Lala: IT'S THE BEST!!!

Rito: Eat or talk, choose one.

(y/n): Same goes with you Zastin.

Zastin: S-sorry.

You smiled and rolled your eyes as you continue to eat your food as Lala and Zastin would ask for more. Soon Lala asked.

Lala: Can I try and cook?

Mikan: Well I don't see why not.

Lala happily got off her seat as Mikan kindly gave her the apron.

Zastin: I'll see what ingredients are appropriate for you to use.

Zastin head towards the fridge while you and Rito watch, but Rito had a concerned look.

(y/n): Relax, how bad can her cooking be?

But right as Lala turned on the oven... Everything in the kitchen was caught on fire after an explosion.

Rito: LALA!!!

(y/n): Or it could be worse.

[Timeskip Mikan and (y/n) going grocery shopping as (y/n) walks out the shop, forgetting to pay as Mikan tries to catch up to him.]

Lala: Done!

Lala has finished cooking... This...

Rito&(y/n): Uhh...

Lala: Eat up!

Rito reaches for a fork as he reaches for it as the jelly literally moved away from the fork.

(y/n): It's... Alive...

Rito then tried again as he managed to get a piece as he brought it up close to him.

Lala: Go on, try it.

Rito obviously hesitated for a minute... Then placed it in his mouth, you then asked.

(y/n): So?

Suddenly Rito fainted as black smoke escaped his mouth as he travels through the after life while you grabbed a spare fork and took a bite.

(y/n): Hmm...

Mikan: Well?

You then swallowed as you get another piece.

(y/n): Not bad at all.

This surprised Lala and Mikan as you got Rito back on his seat as you and everyone else got back to their seat and continue to eat. Soon Rito was brought back from the dead as he looked around.

Rito: Huh? Was... That a dream?

However he then saw you eating the jelly as  he pointed towards you.

Rito: Y-y-your eating it?!?

(y/n): What? *Swallows* it's not that bad.

Rito's eyes twitched as he calms down and seem to be thinking of something... Then he hot up and slams his hands on the table as he shouted.

Rito: Lala! I have something to tell you!

Everyone gotten quiet while you continue to eat the jelly as you watched... Then Rito shouted as he pointed towards Lala.

Rito: LALA...

Then... Everything fades to black...

Rito: I can't marry someone who can't cook at all!

Then the title "To love ru" appeared as the title is covered in blood and a faint laughter was heard.
