Chapter 76: A Child? Who's Is It?

This has been the journey so far...

The Grim Reaper passes by a beautiful garden within the city, he breaths in the clean air as peace has been found. But the sound of a child cried for help... What of their parents? Do they not exist?

(y/n): I almost forgot what peace felt like... I love it.

A beautiful garden can be seen, full of beautiful flowers and trees, it could be a park, but then the garden would be removed if so... You were right by a beautiful clean pond as butterflies roam around the garden until one blue butterfly lands on your shoulder. You opened one eye to see such beautiful creature before smiling and resting your eyes as peace sets in.

(y/n): What could make this even better?

???: Hi.

(y/n): Hmm?

You opened your eyes and see a pair of black boots in front of you before you slowly look up to see The Golden Darkness, Yami as you immediately began.

(y/n): Y-Y-Yami?!

Yami: Hmm?

Yami wasn't expecting the reaction as she could see how slightly red your face was before she points at you.

Yami: Fever?

(y/n): F-Fever?

Yami nods before you realized how hot you were beginning to feel as you spoke.

(y/n): O-Oh no, it's not that Fever... Just caught me by surprise, that's all.

Yami: Hmm.

Yami simply hummed before taking a few steps towards you and sat right beside you as scooted just a bit away from Yami. Yami didn't realize this as she placed a bag of Taiyakis between you and her before grabbing one and eats it. You on the other hand decided to look away and just enjoy the peace, thankfully it's only Yami who's quiet... However you felt a tap on your shoulder as you looked over to see Yami holding a spare Taiyaki.

Yami: Hmm.

(y/n): O-oh... Thanks.

You kindly accepted it and took a small bite on the Taiyaki as silence fills the air between you and Yami... However... You began to hear the crying of a child nearby as your ear twitches the second you heard it.

(y/n): Hmm?

Yami: A child.

You gore off the ground and looked around before hearing the cries again as you managed to get an idea of where it's coming from.

(y/n): It's coming from over there.

Yami: Trouble?

(y/n): Might be. Might as well check it out.

[Timeskip with Yami sleeping on top of a sleeping (y/n) as the full moon can be seen through the window.]

Rito: Hey, Mikan.

Mikan: What is it, Rito?

Inside Mikan's and Rito's house, Rito steps in the living room to see Mikan sitting on the couch alone, watching television.

Rito: Where's (y/n)?

Mikan: He went out for some fresh air. Why?

Rito: I was hoping he can come with me to bring some groceries.

Mikan: Eh? Are we out of food already?

Rito: Well... (y/n) sure eats a lot... He even emptied that weird refrigerator that Lala made back then.

Rito's eye twitches after having a brief flashback of you swallowing that giant squid and lobster whole.

Mikan: Well (y/n) should be back any-

Then a knock on the door was heard as Rito looked over his shoulder.

Rito: Oh, that could be him.

Mikan: Yea, I wouldn't doubt it.

Soon both Mikan and Rito walked to the front door and opened it to see you and Yami standing outside as Mikan smiled.

Mikan: (y/n)! Yami! Eh?

However... Both Mikan and Rito spotted something or... Someone in your arms, a child with green hair and a flower on top as she was sleeping in your arms.

(y/n): We found child, parents not found. Me bring creature in hopes that one of you know problem solving.

You said in a bizarre tone and accent as silence fills the air as Mikan's face slowly turns red before shouting.

Mikan: YOU CAN'T JUST BRING A RANDOM BABY OFF THE STREETS YOU IDIOT!!!

(y/n): WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!? I JUST SAID THE PARENTS ARE NO WHERE DO BE FOUND SO I BROUGHT HER HERE!!!

And finally... Everything fades to black as the title "To Love Ru" appeared as the title was untouched and silence fills the air.
