Jacobs POV

I pulled out of the parking lot and onto the Main road. Play ton was rummaging through her bag looking for something. Who was that guy, and why did he seem so interested in Payton? Oh Matt French, the captain of the lacrosse team. That's who he was. He seemed like a prick. Payton better not like him. "Payton what are you looking for?" I asked. "Body spray" she pouted. " I feel like I smell awful " she admitted. " nah girl you smell good, as usual" I said. "Yea but did I smell good when I was talking to Matt? " she asked. Ugh this Matt kid is gonna be the death of me. " He was so bomb" she gushed. " maybe something would happen! OMG this so exciting!" I laughed and cringed. Luckily it was dark so she couldn't see my face. I am really starting to like her and she might like matt. I need to start something fast. We pulled into noodles and company and I ran and opened the door of the restaurant for her. "Thank you" she called out. She ordered her favorite dish the Pesto cavatappi and I ordered my fav mac and cheese. The guy handed her the drink cups and she skipped over to the touchscreen drink machine. I payed for the good and put our number plaque on a little booth. I approached her as she thought about what drink she wanted. "Ugh there's so much to choose from!! What do you want cubs?" She asked. " can you grab me a cherry coke? I'll meet you at the table." I said. I only said that so I could look at her ass which looked amazing in her spandex. She bounced up and down in excitement and her ass did too. Damn this is too good, I thought. She moved to get the lids for our drinks and then she walked to our booth. " shoot I forgot straws" she turned around and walked and her ass went up and down as she walked. She grabbed the straws and returned to sit across from me at the booth. She sipped on her drink with her full lips and we began to talk. " who all is coming tonight? " she asked. "Meghan, Cassie and Alex." "Wow awesome I'm the only single One in this group" she frowned. I could help you with that, I thought. Just as I thought that Meghan , Cassie and Alex walked through the door. They placed their order and made their way to the table. Payton moved in order to give Meghan the seat across from me because we were still dating. She then slid in the booth next to me , while Cassie sat across from Alex. "Homecoming" Meghan said as she stroked my hands. " huh?" I asked. " what colors do you want to wear and let's start planning! It's next weekend!" She exclaimed. "Ps you haven't exactly asked me yet" she ranted. "Oh okay" I said half heatedly. I wanted to ask Payton to homecoming but with Meghan, I don't do well with hurting feelings, so I had to ask her. I went with Payton freshman year and sophomore year she went by herself. I don't want her to go by herself again. "Okay I was thinking we wear teal, because I found this amazing dress and it's teal so get a teal tie and everything okay?" Meghan asked. Cassie and Alex were talking about the same thing and Payton was the only one not in conversation. I looked at her sitting next to me as she slightly pouted and sipped her drink. I reached my hand down and squeezed her thigh. She took that as a comfort thing and scooted closer to me. I put my arm around her in a way that Meghan couldn't see. I pulled her even closer. My hand rested on her hip right above her ass. Our food came to the table and she straightened up. She began to eat her food and as she did she got a text message.

Payton's POV

I was in a cruddy mood because both of my friend couples were talking about homecoming and I went by myself last year. I wanted to go with Jacob, but he had Meghan. Jacob tried to comfort me and that's what I needed right then. Then our food came. I took a bite and I felt my phone vibrate from In between my legs. I pulled it out and opened the phone. iMessage from 672-111-2333. I didn't know who it was so I opened the message. " hey it's Matt (:" it read. I smiled but I didn't want to respond at the time. I was eating. I locked my phone and continued eating. "'Who was that?" Jacob asked. "Matt" I said. "French? " he asked. " yea! You know him?" I asked. " yea he's only the captain of varsity lacrosse here at legend." " no way! No wonder I didn't think he went to our school, we never go to lacrosse games!" I said. We finished eating and we left. Jacob asked if I wanted ice cream and I refused because I was tired and upset. He pulled into my driveway and as I was about to get out he said" Payton wait" I sucked air in my cheeks,and turned to face him. "What" I said quietly. " don't over think the whole homecoming thing okay? I would have asked you if I could." His face was rather close to mine, but I don't mind it. " I know but you would only asked me as friends" as I put my head down in despair. His finger hooked around my chin and pulled my head up, he looked at me and his green eyes looked very pretty with very little light in them. " Payton you're honestly the most beautiful girl i have ever met and any guy would be so lucky to have you.i wish I realized that sooner. Don't let anybody tell you different." He whispered.

Jacobs POV

I just gushed out only half of my feelings to her. I wanted to kiss her so badly. Her full lips were within in a centimeters distance, and my finger lifted her chin up. I leaned in so much that we could feel each others breath and she began to tense up. I looked in her eyes and began to close mine. I tilted my head and I could feel her tilt here the opposite way. Our lips were about to collide, when we were interrupted by a loud ringer. My phone was going off, and it was Meghan calling. We both jumped and she pulled away. " okay I'll see you tomorrow cubs" she said quietly. she hopped out of my car, got her bags and entered the front door of her house. Dammit! I was about to kiss her! I could almost taste those plump lips full of sugar. Ugh!! I answered the phone kind of salty. "Yes Meghan?" " we need to talk. I'm coming over tonight." She stated. " wait I'm not home yet, I was just dropping Payton off"I told her. She Scoffed on the other line "okay well I'm waiting for you at your house okay? " she said. She hung up and I was in awe. Why is she so strange? I drove back to my house and sure enough Meghan was sitting in her car. She hopped out and ran over to me. " okay we need to talk. No more driving Payton around Okay? You are literally offering to drive her all around town and you haven't offered to drive me around once. you spend too much time with her anyway. " she said. I widened my eyes. " Meghan she's my best friend I have to, we have rituals and things we like to do together. And the only reason I don't drive you is because your another driver in the front seat and I hate that."'I said. " I'm your girlfriend so I should be your best friend. And fine I won't passenger drive okay?" She stated. " you could never replace Payton" I whispered. She saw the look I gave her and I turned away. " baby I'm sorry, I don't want to force this, I just want the best for us, and Payton isn't helping okay? " she began to rub my hair and stroke my abs which she knew drove me crazy. She whispered in my ear "don't be a bad boy for me okay? Be a good boy for Meghs" she nibbled on my ear and began to kiss my neck. She ran her fingers through my hair and moved the kisses along my jawline. I gripped around her waist and nodded in agreement with what she had to say. "Good boy" she whispered on my lips as she began to kiss me. I ran my hands down her back and placed my hands on her butt. I pushed her against my car and we made out for about 5 minutes. She pulled away and said " I'm glad we could come to an agreement" she kissed my cheek. " bye babe" she said as she walked down my driveway and got In her camero, and drove off. I ran my hands through my hair and I asked my self how does she do that to me, as I stepped inside my house. It was 10:11 so I decided to hop in the shower and go to bed. As i laid down, only one name went through my head. Payton.
